Palawan State University – Palawan State University – Roxas Campus once again demonstrated excellence in teacher education as it achieved commendable results in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).

For the Elementary level, PSU-Roxas recorded an impressive 90.74% passing rate among first-time takers, surpassing the national passing rate of 56.03%, while garnering an overall passing rate of 74.29%.

Meanwhile, in the Secondary level, the campus achieved a 77.14% passing rate among first-time takers and an overall passing rate of 62.22%.

These achievements reflect the campus’ unwavering commitment to academic excellence, quality instruction, and the holistic preparation of future educators who are ready to make a difference in the field of education.

The delegates of Palawan State University – Roxas Campus, headed by Campus Director Dr. Flornita N. Ferrer, proudly participated in the grand opening parade of the Panalaminan Festival and Casuy Festival on May 8, 2026, in Roxas.

The celebration marked the 22nd year of the Panalaminan Festival and the 18th year of the Casuy Festival, showcasing the rich culture, traditions, and vibrant spirit of the municipality. Through its participation, PSU-Roxas reaffirmed its support for programs and activities that strengthen cultural appreciation, unity, and community involvement.

Together with various participating sectors, the PSU-Roxas community joined the festivities with pride and enthusiasm, contributing to the vibrant and meaningful celebration of Roxas’ cultural heritage.

Palawan State University – Roxas Campus successfully underwent the Internal ISO Audit 2026 on May 4–6, 2026, as part of the University’s continuing commitment to uphold quality management standards and institutional excellence.

The three-day audit involved the participation of the different Delivery Units and offices of the Campus, showcasing their dedication, preparedness, and collective efforts in ensuring efficient and quality delivery of services.

The activity was facilitated by the team of Internal Quality Auditors led by Internal Auditor Mr. Manny B. Matugas, together with Ms. Hannah Faith Navarro and Mr. Philipp Amer U. Fatalla, who assessed the compliance and implementation of the University’s quality management processes across various offices and service areas.

Campus Director, Dr. Flornita N. Ferrer expressed her appreciation to all unit heads, Delivery Units, faculty, and personnel for their hard work, cooperation, and commitment throughout the audit process. Meanwhile, Campus QMS Coordinator Jacqueline F. Bantigue also conveyed her gratitude to everyone involved for their continuous support and shared dedication toward achieving the Campus’ quality objectives.

More than an assessment, the Internal ISO Audit serves as an avenue for continuous improvement, collaboration, and strengthening the Campus’ commitment to delivering quality public service and education.
