We grieve with the Ateneo de Zamboanga University community over the incident that happened in the Junior High School.

We pray for peace, comfort, and strength for everyone affected, especially the students, families, faculty, and staff during this difficult time.

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭34‬:‭18‬ ‭ESV‬‬

The battle is real, but the victory is already won. ⚔️👑

Quick recap from last Youth Service on fighting the good fight of faith:

1️⃣ Flee the temptation of pride and greed.
2️⃣ Follow God’s heart by knowing and obeying His Word.
3️⃣ Fight by putting on the armor of God and living out Christ's victory.

Through it all, we win by keeping our eyes completely fixed on Jesus—the author and perfecter of our faith.

We may not always get things right, and we all have areas where we're still growing, but let's keep choosing to honor God by serving others and making a difference where we are.

As we continue in our Youth Service series—For Your Purpose—we learned the Marks of a Godly Leader, the character we must possess as we serve His people.

A godly leader is not defined by title or position, but by the condition of the heart — humble in service, faithful in small things, and rooted in love for God and others.

May we carry these marks not as a burden, but as a beautiful calling. As we serve His people, let our character speak louder than our words.

📖✨ May was packed with solid reminders on what Biblical leadership really looks like. 👀

During our May 10 Youth Service, we learned that leadership isn't just about influence or being in front—it's a calling from God for His purpose. Real leadership starts with a real relationship with Jesus. Before we lead others, we need to let God lead us first. 🙌

Then in our last YS, we were blessed to hear from one of our visiting missionaries who shared a timely message on prayer. In light of what's happening in our nation, we were reminded that praying for our leaders should be our first response, not our last resort. 🙏

Godly leaders don't just make moves—they build a lifestyle of prayer that strengthens the church, advances God's mission, and points people to Christ.

Here's to growing into leaders who lead like Jesus. 🔥
