LIS JOURNALISTS ENHANCE WRITING AND BROADCASTING SKILLS IN TWO-DAY CLINIQUING
September 11–12, 2026 | LAWAAN INTEGRATED SCHOOL — Student journalists of Lawa-an Integrated School strengthened their writing and broadcasting skills during a two-day Cliniquing Seminar-Workshop led by journalism mentor Dr. Ariel P. Alovera.
This activity which is part of Project Panulat 2026 featured lectures, writing workshops, radio broadcasting exercises, and group discussions focused on clear, accurate, creative, and responsible journalism. Participants developed stories, practiced voice presentation, and enhanced their pronunciation, delivery, expression, and confidence as aspiring campus journalists.
Beyond honing technical skills, the activity provided the young writers and broadcasters with a valuable avenue to exchange ideas and discover the power of their voices in telling stories that matter to their school and community.
The seminar-workshop was made possible through the steadfast support of School Principal Sir Tomas S. Hupeda and the dedicated Journalism Advisers and Coaches led by Ma’am Liezle A. Ureta, together with Ma’am Maria Esther E. Delamide, Ma’am Marian M. Macaya, and Ma’am Sheeree D. Barredo for the Elementary level, and Sir Egie D. Darundon, Ma’am Marycris D. Dordas, Sir Rodemar D. Dumagpi, and Ma’am Neliza C. Gervero for the Secondary level. Their collective commitment, guidance, and dedication continue to strengthen the school’s campus journalism program and empower the next generation of LIS writers, broadcasters, and communicators.
With every story written and every voice heard, the young journalists of LIS continue to take meaningful steps toward becoming more confident, responsible, and purposeful storytellers.
