|| Climate Adaptation Measures (OUP Memo s. 2026, CRN 765)

In response to extreme heat indices in Palawan, Palawan State University is prioritizing the health of our community with the following guidelines, effective March 10 – May 31, 2026:

👕 OPTIONAL UNIFORMS: Faculty, staff, and students may wear comfortable, breathable clothes. Please ensure attire remains compliant with the University’s dress code policy.

💻 FLEXIBLE LEARNING: Classes at all levels will automatically shift to Synchronous or Asynchronous modes whenever the PAGASA heat index forecast reaches 42°C or higher.

🆔 MANDATORY IDs: While uniforms are optional, University IDs (ARTA/Student ID) must be worn at all times on campus.

📝 FOR FACULTY: During online shifts, please use the OHRMD Online Daily Time Record (DTR) for attendance (login/out).

☀️ STAY SAFE: Use umbrellas, caps, or hats; stay hydrated; and utilize well-ventilated areas.

This proactive measure applies to all campuses. The OUP reserves the right to adjust this policy based on updated weather forecasts.

🎁PalawanSU Roxas Campus Students: Your Christmas Wish Awaits! 🎁

Guidelines

1. This activity is open only to all officially enrolled students for the 1st semester S.Y. 2025-2026;

2. Students are advised to follow the following:
2.1. Write your letter on either one (1) short bond paper or one (1) whole yellow paper;
2.2. Clearly indicate the specific wish you hope to have granted this Christmas.
2.3. Include the reasons or purpose for requesting the specific gift.
2.4. In the final section of the letter, please write your complete name, year level, and program.
2.5. The deadline for dropping off your wishes is strictly on Friday, December 5, 2025, 3:00 in the afternoon.

3. Students may drop their wishes in the box at the front of the SAS office;

4. Please note that while the OSAS & USG will seek sponsors, not all wishes may be granted; and

5. Granted wishes will be presented on December 12, 2025, during the year-end program.
