ROXAS, ISABELA September 18, 2026 —Officials and representatives of Isabela State University (ISU) Roxas Campus joined an engagement with Hon. Faustino Michael Carlos “Mike” T. Dy III, Representative of the 5th District of Isabela, during a gathering attended by officials of ISU Cauayan Cluster and other University representatives.

The ISU Roxas delegation included Atty. Romano P. Cammayo, DPA, Campus Administrator, together with the deans, program chairs, and directors of the campus. Also present were Prof. Dr. Boyet L. Batang, SUC IV President; Dr. Marisol S. Foronda, Cluster Executive Officer of ISU Cauayan; other officials from the ISU Cauayan Cluster; and Dr. Cipriano Ticman, ISU-Aurora Extension Coordinator.

The engagement provided an opportunity for the University representatives to share updates on various programs, projects, and initiatives and to exchange information with Representative Dy. Discussions also touched on areas of coordination and support relevant to the University's continuing programs and activities.

For ISU Roxas Campus, the engagement served as an opportunity to be part of the University's continuing dialogue with government leaders and stakeholders and to share matters relevant to its programs, projects, and initiatives.

The participation of ISU Roxas reflects the University's continuing efforts to strengthen linkages and collaboration with government institutions and other stakeholders in support of higher education, agricultural development, community engagement, and other initiatives responsive to the needs of the communities it serves.

Through and , Isabela State University continues to foster collaboration among its campuses and with external partners toward advancing education, innovation, and community development.

The Municipality of Roxas came alive with agricultural innovation, technology, and community collaboration as TEKNOBUKID 2026 — The 1st Cagayan Valley Fruit and Vegetable Festival was held at San Placido, Roxas, Isabela, under the theme, “See Innovation, Experience Technology, Grow the Future.”

The landmark three-day festival was organized through the collaborative efforts of the Local Government Unit of Roxas, Province of Isabela, Department of Agriculture, and Isabela State University–Roxas Campus, bringing together farmers, agricultural experts, government representatives, academic institutions, business owners, students, and community members in a shared celebration of agriculture, innovation, and sustainable development.

ROXAS, ISABELA —September 14, 2026 — Members of Bahagihan sa Roxas Inc. SAPLOT, a community organization supported by Isabela State University (ISU) Roxas Campus through its Office of Community Engagement, recently received cash assistance amounting to ₱200,000 from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

The financial grant was facilitated through the efforts of Roxas Mayor Hon. Benedict C. Calderon and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer Mrs. Jane C. Canaoay. The funds were sourced from DSWD’s Project Development Advancement Grant (PDAG), a program aimed at supporting community-based initiatives and livelihood development.

The assistance is expected to strengthen the operational and management capacities of Bahagihan sa Roxas Inc. SAPLOT, enabling the organization to further its mission of empowering local communities through sustainable development initiatives and livelihood opportunities.

The initiative contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 1 – No Poverty, by supporting community initiatives that can improve economic well-being; SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, by promoting livelihood development and sustainable economic opportunities; and SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities, by extending support to community-based organizations and their members.

More importantly, the collaboration exemplifies SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, highlighting the collective efforts of DSWD, the Municipality of Roxas, Isabela State University Roxas Campus, and Bahagihan sa Roxas Inc. SAPLOT in advancing inclusive and sustainable community development.

Through strengthened partnerships among government agencies, local government, academe, and community organizations, ISU Roxas Campus continues to support initiatives that translate institutional engagement into meaningful opportunities for local communities.

𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗨𝗦 𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗢𝗣𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗨𝗠

The Campus Peace and Development Forum was successfully conducted on September 7, 2026, at the ISUR Mini Theater, Matusalem, Roxas, Isabela, in coordination with the Philippine Air Force (PAF) – Tactical Operations Group 2 (TOG 2). The activity aimed to promote peace, development, public awareness, responsible citizenship and national security consciousness among students.

The forum was attended by first and second year BS Law Enforcement Administration (BSLEA) students of the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), along with student leaders from other colleges. Speakers discussed relevant topics, including the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 (RA 10627), the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165), peace and development and national security awareness.

The activity was supported by Atty. Romano P. Cammayo, Campus Administrator and 2LT Aileen Gleen F. Fangayen, Director for Military Civil Operations of TOG 2, who emphasized cooperation, awareness, civic responsibility and community engagement. The Valley Air Warriors Band also provided musical performances that added vibrancy to the program.

Overall, the forum served as a meaningful learning experience that enhanced students' awareness of law, peace and development, national security and responsible citizenship. It also strengthened the partnership between Isabela State University – Roxas Campus and PAF-TOG 2 in promoting a culture of peace, civic responsibility and community engagement.
