Today marks the culmination of the 45-day After School Program of San Francisco Elementary School (SFES) πŸŽ‰ β€” a meaningful journey that officially began on January 2026, with one mission: to protect our learners from child labor and nurture their talents through enriching activities.
This afternoon at 3:00 PM, we celebrate not just an ending, but the beautiful impact of this program β€” from sports, arts, academic support, and values formation. Truly, this initiative created a safe and nurturing space where our learners can grow, explore, and shine beyond the classroom. 🌱✨
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Sir Jelo Lopez and all our generous sponsors, for their unwavering support. San Francisco Elementary School Joins Fire Prevention Month and Nationwide Earthquake Drill

San Francisco Elementary School proudly joined the nationwide observance of Fire Prevention Month this March by strengthening fire safety awareness and prevention within the school community.

In line with this initiative, the school also participated in the First Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on March 12, 2026, at 3:30 PM. Learners, teachers, and school personnel actively practiced the safety protocol β€œDuck, Cover, and Hold” to ensure preparedness in case of an earthquake.

San Francisco Elementary School officially launched its Early Registration for School Year 2026–2027 on January 31, 2026, during the conduct of the 3rd Quarter General Assembly Meeting.
The early registration covers incoming Kinder, Grade 1, Balik-Aral, and Transferees, and will run until February 27, 2026. The initiative aims to ensure accurate planning, resource allocation, and efficient preparation for the upcoming school year.
The orientation and information drive on early registration was led by Grace Ann Matias, who emphasized the importance of timely enrollment in helping the school provide quality services and a smooth start of classes. Parents were encouraged to register their children early.

πŸ“° 3rd Quarter General Assembly Meeting Successfully Conducted
January 31, 2026 | 7:30 AM

San Francisco Elementary School successfully conducted its 3rd Quarter General Assembly Meeting, HRPTA Recognition, and Card Giving on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 7:30 in the morning.
The activity was attended by parents, teachers, and key stakeholders, highlighting the strong partnership between the school and the community in promoting quality education and learner development.
The program formally opened with a prayer led by Lovely S. Taquinod, followed by the singing of the National Anthem facilitated by Kathleen Bongolan. Christian V. Seterra, PhD, delivered the opening and welcome remarks, setting the tone for a productive and meaningful assembly.
One of the highlights of the event was the discussion on the Early Registration for Kinder, Grade 1, Balik-Aral, and Transferees, presented by Grace Ann Matias, encouraging parents to enroll their children early for the upcoming school year. The registration period runs from January 31 to February 27, 2026.
An ARAL Program Presentation was also delivered by Ma. Jesusa B. Maczon, ARAL Focal Person, followed by the SPTA Report on Subsidy and Founding Anniversary presented by Jennifer Partible, SPTA President.
The assembly concluded with the School Head Hour and Message of Maam Mercedita G. Aplonio, School Head, who expressed gratitude to the parents and stakeholders for their unwavering support and emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving the school’s goals.
