DRRM 1st General Meeting | August 12, 2026

Members of the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Rescue team gathered for their first general meeting to discuss plans, responsibilities, and upcoming activities.

The meeting also featured a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training headed by DRRM Rescue President Jasper Devila, equipping members with essential life-saving skills and emergency response knowledge.

Capiz State University–Dayao Satellite Campus joined the 2nd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) Today, June 18, as part of the nationwide initiative to strengthen disaster preparedness and emergency response capabilities.

Faculty members, staff, and students actively participated in the drill, practicing the proper "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure and evacuation protocols during a simulated earthquake scenario.

The activity aimed to raise awareness, improve readiness, and promote a culture of safety within the campus community in preparation for potential earthquake emergencies.

The CAPSU Dayao DRRM Team actively participated in the Basic First Aid and Emergency Response Seminar held at the CAPSU Dayao Covered Gym.

This activity enhanced the participants' knowledge and skills in providing first aid and responding effectively during emergency situations. Through continuous training and learning, the team remains committed to promoting safety, preparedness, and resilience within the university and the community.
