​Under the theme "ELEVATE: Kabataang Haligi ng Likas-Kayang Turismo," our student delegates are joining fellow future tourism and hospitality leaders from across the nation to champion sustainable tourism, leadership, and youth empowerment.

WHY EVERY CATHOLIC HOME NEEDS A CRUCIFIX

1. A SIGN OF CHRIST'S SACRIFICE
The crucifix reminds us of the greatest act of love in history—Jesus dying on the Cross for our salvation. Each time we look at it, we are drawn back to the heart of our faith: the mystery of the Cross that opened the gates of Heaven.

2. A SOURCE OF PROTECTION
Throughout Church tradition, the crucifix has been a powerful sacramental, bringing blessings and spiritual protection. Evil trembles before the sign of the Cross, and many saints have testified that a crucifix in the home keeps away spiritual harm.

3. A DAILY CALL TO PRAYER
When we see the crucifix in our home, we are reminded to pray, to forgive, and to live with faith. It inspires us to unite our sufferings with Christ's and to live with hope.

4. A TEACHING TOOL FOR FAMILIES
For children, the crucifix is a living catechism. It becomes an opportunity to explain the meaning of Christ's sacrifice and to pass on the Catholic faith in a visual and powerful way.

5. A MARK OF CATHOLIC IDENTITY
Having a crucifix in the home is a bold declaration of our faith. It tells anyone who enters that this family belongs to Christ and that this home is under His protection and guidance.

A home without a crucifix can feel empty of this sacred sign. By placing one in our living room, bedroom, or prayer corner, we proclaim that Jesus Christ is the center of our lives.

Let the crucifix be the heart of your home, a constant source of strength, love, and peace.
