ＳＣＩＥＮＣＥ ＭＯＮＴＨ ＣＥＬＥＢＲＡＴＩＯＮ ＩＮ ＣＬＲＡＮＨＳ 🌿💚
We are excited to present the highlights of the Culminating Program for the Science Month Celebration 2024 at Commissioner Luis R. Asis National High School!
Organized by our dedicated Science Department, under the leadership of Head Teacher I in Science Mr. Federico B. Barrera, CLRANHS YES-O Coordinator Mrs. Delia Fe Billones, Science Coordinator Mrs. Daisy B. Tunguia, and our enthusiastic Science teachers, the month-long celebration was filled with captivating school-based activities. Our learners demonstrated their talents and expertise through events such as the On-the-Spot Poster Making contest, the thrilling Science Quiz Bee, the informative Science Display Booth, and the creative STEMazing event.
One of the highlights of the event was the captivating "Magic of Science" presentation by the talented performers from Science Magic Philippines, which took place in Poblacion Ilawod, Panay, Capiz, leaving our learners filled with wonder and excitement. The grand finale of our celebration featured a significant Mangrove Tree Planting and Nurturing activity in Barangay Buntod, Panay, Capiz. This initiative was a collaboration with theUS Peace Volunteer Mr. Gerald Brady Jr with support from Capiz Environment and Natural Resources Office (CAPENRO), led by Mr. Allan Cullo and his dedicated team.
We witnessed enthusiastic involvement from representatives of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), Youth for Environment-in-Schools Organization (YES-O), and Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) CLRANHS Chapter, all in harmony with DepEd's core value of Makakalikasan.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Jimmy Billomes, the School Principal III of CLRANHS, Head Teachers Ms. Evelyn C. Sanchez, Mrs. Aileen Buenvenida, and all our dedicated teachers for their steadfast support and commitment to our environment.
