Jose Diva Avelino Jr. National High School celebrates World Mental Health Month with the theme: “Stonger Together: United for Health and Humanity”. A joint symposium of PNP, RHU, and Population Services Division.
This event was led by the Peer-Ed adviser Ma’am Jella Mae Daynolo along with the Peer-Ed officers.
The Barkada Kontra Droga headed by their dedicated and active president Denise Amador with the BKD Officers joined to successfully celebrate this today’s event.
The BKD Organization conducted a series of fun and engaging games — a fundraising event organized to help a fellow SPA student who was affected by a recent fire. The activity is not only aimed to raise financial assistance but also to show unity, compassion, and the spirit of bayanihan within the school community.
At the same time, to held this celebration of World Mental Health Month, promoting joy, connection, and emotional well-being among students and teachers while supporting a meaningful cause.

Barkada Kontra Droga along with Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) and Youth of Environment in School Organization (YES-O) represented our school Jose Diva Avelino Jr. National High School for SDO Capiz Leader's Convergence: Uniting Visionaries in partnership with Capiz Youth Development Office.
Capiz Youth Development Office, hosted and organized this event at Capiz National High School to unite student leaders from various schools in Capiz to share ideas, collaborate, and encourage one another to work towards a shared vision for a brighter future.
Grateful for the valuable insights and bonds that are made during this inspiring gathering of innovative minds, leaders, and changemakers. Facilitated by esteemed speakers, allowing the event to provide an opportunity to participate, exchange ideas, and setting a path toward a brighter future. We’re excited to continue building on the progress we've made!

It is indeed a fruitful day for the delegates of Jose Diva Avelino Jr. National High School, which was represented by Sir Nikks Marquez Bigas and Christian Jude Biclar as they attended the symposium on drug prevention and crime reduction conducted by Capiz Provincial Government in cooperation with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG). The symposium talks about strategies to lessen and eventually prevent the usage of drugs and to promote a safer neighborhood, most especially at school premises. The said symposium was attended by out-of-school youth (OSY) and in-school youth (ISY).

GROWING TOGETHER: TREE PLANTING AND CLEAN UP ACTIVITY FOR TEACHER'S DAY
Today, October 2, 2024, the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) participated in the tree planting and clean-up activity, along with Yes-O officers, fellow students, and teachers. This meaningful activity allow us to give honor to our teachers by maintaining our healthy environment and the cleanliness of our school.
This event is not only to celebrate World Teacher's Day but also to highlight the importance of planting trees in our school. Through teamwork, commitment, and dedication it encourage us to keep our enviroment clean and safe for the future generation. A greener future is what we aim for the world!
