The future of student leadership within the Purisimans' Educational Research Organization (PERO) officially took shape today, April 27, as aspiring officers engaged in a rigorous day of preparation, selection, and spiritual grounding for the upcoming academic year.

The day’s events were divided into two pivotal phases designed to test both the visibility and the internal character of the next generation of student leaders.

The morning kicked off with the Election Forum, an interactive gathering that showcased the diverse landscape of organizations within the Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion (CPC). The candidate officers presented their platforms and advocacies, emphasizing the organization's commitment to academic excellence, and student initiatives.

Following the public forum, the atmosphere shifted from political discourse to internal reflection during the Pastoral Leadership Training Seminar (PLTS). This seminar is a hallmark of the CPC leadership journey, moving beyond the logistics of "being an officer" to explore the "true meaning of leadership."

As the academic year 2026-2027 approaches, the PERO candidates emerge from today’s events with a refined sense of purpose. By balancing the practical demands of the Election Forum with the spiritual and ethical foundations of the PLTS, these future officers are not just preparing to hold titles—they are preparing to lead with conviction.

The road to the election continues, but one thing is certain: the future of PERO is in capable, research oriented, and heart-centered hands.

The torch has been passed, and the flame just got brighter. We are the candidates for the 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀' 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗢), and we aren’t just here to lead, we’re here to revolutionize.

Coming into this new school year, we aren't just filling seats; we are bridging the gap between bold ideas and real-world impact. Our team is a powerhouse of fresh perspectives, relentless drive, and a shared mission to put research at the heart of the student experience.

On March 28, 2026, the Purisimians' Educational Research Organization (PERO) proudly took part in the CASE Culmination Activity 2026 held at Dumulog Elementary School (DES).

The event was a joyful celebration honoring selected students who successfully completed their tutorial sessions earlier this year. These tutorials helped learners build confidence, strengthen their skills, and rediscover the joy of learning.

Seeing the smiles, excitement, and pride of the students reminded everyone that learning becomes more meaningful when guided by encouragement and support. Each learner’s achievement reflected hard work, determination, and the belief that they can reach greater heights.

The organization remains committed to inspiring young minds, supporting community learning initiatives, and standing with students as they take one step closer to their dreams. This activity proved that with guidance and dedication, every child has the potential to shine. ✨

𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟱 — 𝗘𝗗𝗦𝗔 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 🫂

Today, February 25, is a special working holiday commemorating the anniversary of the 𝐄𝐃𝐒𝐀 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, a peaceful uprising that toppled the Marcos administration in 1986. On this day, as a result of years of corruption, regime human rights violations, and a dictatorship, millions of Filipinos, joined by the Roman Catholic Church, gathered on Epifanio de los Santos Avenue in Metro Manila, Philippines, to overthrow Former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr.

Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion once again demonstrated its deep devotion and unity in faith as members of the Purisiman Educational Research Organization (PERO) participated in the Vespers Mass in honor of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary on December 7, at the Immaculate Concepcion Metropolitan Cathedral (ICMC).

The celebration began with a Marian Procession at 3:00 PM, where a solemn parade of sacred images made its way through the grounds of the cathedral. Students, parishioners, and devotees walked together in prayer and gratitude, reflecting the community’s enduring reverence for the Blessed Mother.

Following the procession, the community gathered inside the cathedral for the Vespers Mass, presided over by Rev. Msgr. Rufino Regie A. Amposa, Vicar General. His message emphasized faith, purity, and the importance of honoring Mary as a model of humility and obedience.

For the Purisimian community, taking part in this celebration is more than tradition, but it is a reaffirmation of their identity as children of the Immaculate Mother and a commitment to live out the values she embodies. The event served as a meaningful reminder of the spiritual foundation that guides the students of CPC as they continue their academic and personal journeys.

𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗢 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴 ✝️👑

On November 23 at Capiz Gymnasium, Villareal Stadium, the 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠 was celebrated. Among the various institutions, parishes, congregations, and organizations in attendance were members of the Purisimians' Educational Research Organization (PERO).

The Eucharistic Celebration was held, with Most Rev. Victor B. Bendico, D. D., Archbishop of Capiz, as the main celebrant and preacher.

In his homily, he focuses on the need for prayer in these trying times, where corruption cases plague the Philippines. We, the Filipino people, must unite and continue to seek accountability, but we must also not forget to pray and seek guidance from God.

The Procession of the Blessed Sacrament followed, where students held lit candles and prayed the Rosary as they marched from Capiz Gymnasium to the Immaculate Concepcion Metropolitan Cathedral.

Through this yearly celebration, we are called to follow in Jesus Christ's teachings. 𝙑𝙞𝙫𝙖 𝘾𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤 𝙍𝙚𝙮!
