To provide more opportunities for Maritime students when it comes to engaging themselves in cultural and sports events as a result of big population, the Administration of CPC decided to divide College of Maritime Education into half, making Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation (BSMT) and Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering (BSMarE) separate departments.

The separation prompted to elect new Council Officers through a special elections.

The new set of officers for the Department of Marine Transportation- Student Pastoral Council (DMT- SPC) are as follow:
