BEYOND DIFFERENCES

Alex, confident and ethnocentric, dominates his group's cultural presentation, dismissing the ideas of quiet Maya, who represents a different culture. Sam, the open-minded mediator, tries to bridge the gap. Tension rises as Alex insists on showcasing only his culture, leading to a confrontation where Maya finally expresses how undervalued she feels. A turning point occurs when Alex begins to reflect on his behavior. During their presentation, the group discovers a surprising, shared history between their cultures, highlighting their interconnectedness despite their initial differences.

With every heart beating bright, we shared the joy, the love, and the magic of this season โ€” just like the song says, โ€˜Itโ€™s the most wonderful time of the year!โ€™

This celebration isnโ€™t just about the decorations nor presents we received, but rather itโ€™s the presence of every individual who came to share the laughter, conversation and even the games we played that was the bridge to create these memories, now etched in our hearts.

This wouldnโ€™t have been completed without the help of everyone, indeed it was a Merry Christmas for Darwin-12 โ€” surely one for the books!

May this holiday be as happy and as genuine as we are in these photos.
