Ninoy Aquino Day!

In accordance with Proclamation No. 727, signed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on October 30, 2024, August 21, Ninoy Aquino Day, is observed as a special non-working holiday commemorating the 43rd anniversary of the assassination of Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr.

As we remember his courage and sacrifice, may we also be reminded of his words, “The Filipino is worth dying for,” and of our shared responsibility to uphold the values of freedom, democracy, and justice.
