Republic Act No. 9217 declares April 15 of every year as President Manuel A. Roxas Memorial Day, thereby assigning the nearest Friday (April 17, 2026) to it as a special non-working holiday in the entire Province of Capiz and Roxas City in commemoration of the death anniversary of the late president.

Araw ng Kagitingan, also known as Day of Valor, is a regular holiday in the Philippines that commemorates the heroism and bravery of Filipino and American forces during World War II.
In observance of this holiday, there will be NO CLASSES on April 9, 2026.
