Crafters' pubs set campus journ

The Roxas City School for Philippine Craftsmen Crafters' Echo and Sinag publications conducted Training-workshop on Campus Journalism and 2023 School-based Press Conference last May 2-3.

Aspiring journalists from varied grade levels flocked this year's SPC to showcase their journalistic skills on the different categories both in English and Filipino.

Prior the SPC, the schools publications conducted a Training-workshop which also served as a refresher course for participants who were previously campus journalists in their respective schools. The activity was facilitated by the school paper advisers and invited teacher.

This year's theme “From Campus Journalism to Real-World Journalism: Shaping Minds from Schools to Societies,” focused on the application and relevance of campus journalism in the real-world context.

Winners in the different categories will represent the school in the upcoming Division Schools Press Conference at Pres. Manuel A. Roxas Integrated School - South, North, and SpEd on May 13-14.

Attention Crafters!

The Crafters' Echo and Sinag Publication of our school will be having its 2nd Schools Press Conference on May 2-3, 2023 at the School Library.

There will be a training-workshop on Campus Journalism on May 2, 7 30 am to 12 nn the same venue prior to the contest. All participants must attend to this training-workshop.

On May 3 will be the contest proper for English and Filipino categories at 8 am to 12 nn. Participants are required to ask permission from their subject teachers before the contest.

This school activity is in strict compliance on no "disruption of classes" policy. Participants will attend make-up classes to the affected subject areas after the contest.

(Note: RCSPC truly adheres to the mandate of the Department of Education's "no disruption of classes", students visit the RCSPC pantry either during their vacant time or their subject teachers gave them 10 minutes of reading time.)

Roxas City School for Philippine Craftsmen celebrates 2022 Pambansang Buwan at Araw mg Pagbasa with the theme: "Our commitment for Learning Recovery: Every learner is a Champion Reader" from November 7 to 30, 2022.

"Reading can contribute to the success of our learners." said by Mr. Juan Celino in his campaign on the importance of reading in students' success during the flag raising ceremony.

Various reading activities were set by the Filipino and English teachers for this month-long celebration.

"Let us continue the love for reading."

The RCSPC Language Department successfully conducted the Brigada Pagbasa 2022.

Incoming grade 7 students actively participated in the different reading activities facilitated by the English teachers, school librarian, and SSG officers.

With its successful implementation, we are looking forward for the Brigada Pagbasa Plus to be conducted to all grade 7 to grade 12 students this August 22- 26, 2022.

We are inviting our incoming Grade 7 students to join us in this year's Brigada Pagbasa! Let us learn and enjoy at the same time through our exciting reading activities.
