Sorosoro Ibaba Development Cooperative (SIDC) has been lauded for its outstanding performance and significant contributions to the community by the Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK). On August 8, 2024, during LANDBANK’s 61st Anniversary celebration and Models of Excellence Recognition Initiative for Top Bank Clients (MERIT) Awards held at LANDBANK Plaza in Manila, the cooperative was honored with the prestigious Gawad Pitak as Outstanding Agri-based Cooperative (Large).

The MERIT Awards are designed to recognize LANDBANK’s top-performing clients who exhibit exceptional performance in their fields and foster robust partnerships with the bank. This year’s recipients span a diverse array of sectors including cooperatives, SMEs, corporations, and individual farmers, all of whom have made substantial impacts on their communities and contributed significantly to the nation's economic development.

Sorosoro Ibaba Development Cooperative's award underscores its exemplary achievements within the agriculture sector and its steadfast commitment to enhancing the livelihoods of its members and the broader community. The cooperative's success story is a beacon for other agri-based cooperatives and highlights the critical role of collaborative efforts between government and private sector entities in advancing rural development.

In celebration of this significant achievement, the SIDC Board of Directors presented the award to Batangas City Mayor Beverley Rose Dimacuha on August 12, 2024. Makipag-ugnayan lang po sa pinakamalapit na sangay ng ating kooperatiba sa inyong lugar.

Kinakailangan po ang inyong SIDC ID sa pagkuha nito. Kung kinatawan ang kukuha, kinakailangan ang SIDC ID ng miyembro, Authorization letter at Valid ID ng kinatawan.
