The CPC College of Law Student Body officially kicked off 𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐈𝐈 with the signing of a 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 with Sapian National High School, marking the start of this exciting collaboration.

Following the MOA signing, our JD student resource speakers led an engaging seminar on debate and advocacy for the Grade 12 students, equipping them with essential communication and reasoning skills:

Public Speaking – 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐮𝐚 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐃. 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐬, CLSB Treasurer, JD2 Batch Invictus

Basic Argumentation & Debate and Introduction to Logical Fallacies – 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐓. 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥, JD1 Batch Vindex

Interpellation & Rebuttal Techniques – 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐢 𝐉𝐨𝐞, CLSB President, JD4 Batch Sui Generis

These sessions were designed to empower young learners to communicate with confidence, think critically, and engage meaningfully in constructive discourse.

Last 22nd of November 2025, the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) team, headed by Assistant Solicitor General George O. Ortha II together with Associate Solicitor I Elaine D. Hilario-Tu and Administrative Officer IV Cristina A. Fabrig, brought over its Legal Internship Program to Capiz for the first time ever. This program presented a great opportunity for CPC Law students to gain real experience in working under the office, from legal research and pleadings to courtroom experience.

The orientation took place at Dr. Adolfo B. Bellosillo Auditorium (DABBA), CPC Arnaldo Boulevard Campus, which was participated by JD1 to JD3 students. It covered a variety of topics including the functions and duties of OSG, a glimpse of the activities in store by featuring the legal internship program for the past year, as well as the various benefits for the would-be interns.

Truly, this initiative provides valuable exposure for the law students of the College who might not otherwise have access to these opportunities. Applications for the legal internship program is until February 13, 2026.

OSG Legal Internship Program Roadshow 2025

The Office of the Solicitor General (OSG), in coordination with the College of Law Student Body, invites JD1–JD3 students to the Roadshow on the Legal Internship Program (LIP), a distinguished training initiative designed to expose interns to substantive legal work under the supervision of experienced practitioners and esteemed legal scholars.

This orientation will provide a comprehensive orientation on the OSG’s Legal Internship Program, its application and selection process, and the opportunities it offers for practical training and professional development within the field of law.
