Eleusine indica, commonly known as paragis grass, is a plant that can be found almost everywhere—from roadsides and fields to gardens and open spaces. Because it grows naturally in many environments, it is easy to find and has been used in traditional medicine for hundreds of years.

Paragis is valued for its many potential health benefits and has long been used as a herbal remedy for common illnesses such as fever, cough, stomach aches, urinary discomfort, and minor wounds. It is also believed to contain anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that may help support overall health. Despite its many reported uses, there is still much to learn about this common yet remarkable plant.
