A celebration of dedication, leadership, and outstanding accomplishments took center stage as the Student Affairs and Services Office (SAS) of Capiz State University Sigma Satellite College successfully held the SAS Parangal 2026 on June 16, 2026, at the CAPSU Sigma Cultural Center.

Carrying the theme “Honoring Excellence, Inspiring Success,” the event recognized students, organizations, and individuals who have shown remarkable commitment, service, and excellence in various fields throughout the academic year.

The program formally began with the National Anthem, invocation, and CAPIZ Hymn, followed by the welcome remarks of Prof. Jumar Q. Apoyo, MSGC, RGC, SAS Chairperson. The event was then highlighted by a meaningful message from Dr. Eimee D. Potato, Satellite College Director, who encouraged everyone to continue pursuing their responsibilities and passions by doing things with heart. Her message emphasized that genuine dedication, compassion, and sincerity are essential in creating meaningful impact through service and leadership.

Adding inspiration to the celebration, the keynote address was delivered by Prof. Kelly Art D. Montefrio, MMHM, former Vice President of the Student Supreme Council (SSC), who shared valuable insights on leadership, growth, and the importance of student involvement.

The event was further graced by the presence of Dr. Jay Ann B. Gregorio, University SAS Director, whose attendance added significance to the celebration. Her support and presence reflected the shared commitment of the university in recognizing and empowering student excellence, leadership, and service.

The Clash for leadership has officially concluded as the Supreme Student Council – Sigma Chapter Election 2026 successfully took place today, May 22, 2026.

With two competing parties passionately fighting for every position, the election became a true showcase of leadership, unity, dedication, and the students’ voices. Every vote reflected the hopes of the student body for a stronger and better Sigma Chapter community.
