Sometimes, they simply need the right mentor.
After almost four years of tutoring students one-on-one, that's the lesson that has stayed with me the most.
I've seen that many students don't struggle because they lack ability. More often, they just need someone who listens, explains patiently, and gives them the confidence to ask questions without feeling embarrassed.
