This week at Bixby Lab School, our young Lab School learners explored the things they love through playful, hands-on learning! From feeding a dog for Math, hunting for pets with flashlights for Science, creating their own pets, discovering mystery favorites, and matching pets with their homes and healthy food, every activity was filled with curiosity, creativity, and care.

Through the familiar things they love, our Lab School learners discovered that learning is even more meaningful when it connects to who they are and what matters to them.

This week in Bixby Lab School, our young learners explored the beautiful theme of Feelings and Routines as part of our overarching journey, Knowing Who We Are and Our Families.

Every activity became an opportunity to understand themselves a little more deeply, from recognizing emotions through our Emotion Cards, expressing feelings with colors in our Watercolor Feelings activity, to nurturing curiosity and problem-solving through our Floating and Sinking exploration.

At Bixby Lab School, we believe that every feeling matters, every routine shapes character, and every moment of wonder helps our children grow into compassionate, curious, and joyful lifelong learners.
