In view of the heavy rainfall caused by the prevailing shear line, Mayor David A. Bido has directed the suspension of classes in all levels in public schools, in the Municipality of Rosario, Northern Samar, today, February 12, 2026 (Thursday).

The public is urged to stay vigilant, monitor official weather updates, and observe necessary safety measures.

Due to the continuing effects of the shear line, as reported by the DOST–PAGASA, placing the province under yellow rainfall warning, and upon the recommendation of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, I am hereby suspending classes at all levels in public and private schools tomorrow, February 10, 2026.

📢 CLASS & WORK SUSPENSION ALERT

Due to the shearline and heavy rainfall affecting Northern Samar, all classes in public schools and government work in the Municipality of Rosario are suspended today, February 9, 2026.

Exception: Personnel from MDRRMO, RHU, and the Municipal Finance Office shall continue reporting for duty to ensure essential services.

|| CLASS & WORK SUSPENSION ADVISORY

In reference to the directive of Governor Harris Ongchuan and upon the instruction of our Municipal Mayor Hon. David A. Bido, classes in all levels in public schools in Rosario are suspended tomorrow, January 16, 2026, due to the effects of Tropical Depression "Ada".

Likewise, work in government offices is also suspended, except for personnel involved in the delivery of essential services, particularly our RHU medical team, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), and finance staff.

This is a proactive safety measure to protect our students, teachers, and public servants from the possible impacts of the weather disturbance.
