“KANI AKONG PAG-ATANG DIRI, PAGPAKITA NI NGA PALANGGA NAKO SI RENE.” 💔

Ito ang sagot ng isang may edad na ina habang mangiyak-iyak sa gilid ng kalsada. Nang tanungin ko siya: “Apil sab ka nag-atang diha kay Rene Baterbonia Nay?” Agad niyang sinabi: “Oo Ma’am. Kani akong pag-atang diri pagpakita ni nga palangga nako si Rene. Bisag wala gyud ko kaila sa personal aning bataa pero makasakit sa dughan iyang kamatayon. Unta mahatagan gyud ni ug hustisya”.

Halos TATLONG (3) ORAS nang nakatayo ang buong barangay sa tabi ng highway. Walang reklamo sa pagod, walang umaalis. Ilang sandali na lang at dadaan na ang konboy rito sa Bayugan 3 bago ka tuluyang ihatid sa iyong huling hantungan sa Talacogon, Rene. Sa pinakasimpleng paraan sa pagtitiis sa kalsada at sa mga luhang hindi mapigilan ipinapakita ng lahat kung gaano ka kamahal.

Hindi porket mahirap lang si Rene ay tatahimik na lang tayo! Walang mahirap o mayaman pagdating sa halaga ng buhay ng tao. Ang buhay ni Rene ay may halaga, at hindi matatahimik ang bayan hangga't hindi nakakamit ang katarungang nararapat para sa kanya at sa kanyang pamilya.

The monumental, record-breaking success of hosting the entire DepEd SOCCSKSARGEN (Region XII) Delegation for the 66th Palarong Pambansa was a massive mountain to climb. 📢 OFFICIAL PUBLIC ADVISORY

Following the Rapid Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (RDANA) conducted by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) after the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Southern Mindanao on June 8, 2026, with its epicenter located offshore near the General Santos–Sarangani area, the Bayugan 3 National High School SHS Laboratory Building has been assessed to have sustained significant structural damage.

Based on the findings of the assessment, the building exhibited a deformed beam, visible cracks, and a slight structural tilt, which may compromise the safety of its occupants.

In view thereof, and in the interest of ensuring the safety and welfare of all students, personnel, parents, and stakeholders, the School Principal IV Sir Voit D. Quicos hereby declares the:

TEMPORARILY CLOSED ⚠️

Entry into and use of the building are strictly prohibited until further notice. The structure remains under evaluation and is currently awaiting clearance from the Department of Education (DepEd) for its proposed demolition and other necessary actions.

We respectfully request everyone to refrain from entering the affected area and to follow all safety measures implemented by the school administration.

Further updates will be released as soon as official guidance and clearance are received from the concerned authorities.
