Learning Fire Safety the Hands-On Way 🔥👩🏻‍🚒

In celebration of Fire Prevention Month, Rosario Elementary School conducted a Fire Safety Orientation and Drill in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Rosario to strengthen fire safety awareness and emergency preparedness among learners and teachers.

Participants included the incoming and outgoing SELG and YES-O officers, along with selected teachers from Rosario ES and Agustin Abadilla ES.

During the activity, BFP personnel demonstrated proper fire safety procedures, and learners and teachers were given the chance to experience using the fire extinguisher and fire hose to safely put out fires. 🧯🚒

Meanwhile, the Grade 1 SSES learners also had the exciting opportunity to meet the firemen and firewomen, which connects to one of their lessons this quarter, making the experience both fun and educational.

Rosario ES extends its sincere appreciation to the BFP Rosario team for their valuable time and expertise in promoting fire safety in our school community.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the validating team headed by EPS Anna Marie Aranzanso and EPS Emily Quintos, together with the distinguished school principals from various districts and schools who served as members of the validation team. Your positive feedback and valuable insights truly inspire us to strive harder for the success of our learners.

We are also deeply thankful to our School Principal, Ma’am Nonette Alarca, for her unwavering support and meaningful guidance to our teachers. Special appreciation to Teacher Aireen, our School Reading Coordinator, and to all our KS1 teachers for their dedication, teamwork, and thorough preparations that made this validation a success.

Together, we continue to champion literacy and numeracy and ensure quality learning for every learner.
