The PAVIGAMEAN RSPC WINNING STREAK ACHIEVED!

CONGRATULATIONS to Marian S. Ilagan for winning 6th Place in Photojournalism (Filipino) in the recently concluded Reconfigured Regional Schools Press Conference (RRSPC) 2026 held at Antipolo, Rizal on February 22-27.

This feat marks the second RSPC appearance and podium finish of a Pavigamean journalist.

IN PHOTOS: PVGMA conducts comprehensive audit to ensure earthquake safety and readiness

In a proactive move to ensure the safety of its students and personnel, a comprehensive infrastructure audit of the Padre Vicente Garcia Memorial Academy, Inc. (PVGMA) buildings was conducted on October 29.

The audit was spearheaded by officials from the Municipal Engineering Department and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO).

The goal was to assess the structural integrity and strength capabilities of the campus buildings against the ongoing threat of a major earthquake.

Leading the inspection team were Mr. Jose Rafael Carandang, Municipal Architect, and Ms. Jelica Lopez, Municipal Draftsman.

They meticulously examined various facilities—including classrooms, the computer laboratory, the library, and faculty offices—for any signs of cracks, fissures, or damages that could be worsen by a seismic event.

The comprehensive audit was initiated by Dr. Jayson O. Gulpan, School Administrator and Principal, following a request letter addressed to Honorable Mayor Leovigildo K. Morpe dated October 22.

This crucial activity underscores PVGMA's commitment to ensuring the utmost disaster response and preparedness for its entire school community.

Her outstanding performance has earned her a seat at CALABARZON's JournCamp, where the region's top-performing campus journalists will train and be selected to compete in the prestigious Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) 2026!

This powerhouse trio secured 3rd place in The Academic Clash 2025: The 1st Inter-Senior High School ABM Quiz Bee Competition!

The intense competition took place at Batangas State University – Rosario Campus on October 24.
