SAFE SKIES; HEROES ON FLIGHT

Up in the sky, there's a battlefield that no can see until you open your eyes. Where brave hearts keeping their heads up high, were heroes on the flight, fighting for safe skies.

The Military whose battlefield is in the sky, up there where you're weapon is your determination, where your skills and talents will be your key to move forward and aim to the top. Not everyone can reach the top. People who are afraid to fall will be left behind, but those who are brave enough to spread their arms and freely fall will achieve.

The Philippine Eagle to be personified whose keen observer ready to back up any time. The eagle eyes whose lookout in every fight that happened between the land and sea. Carrying
their duties with honor and dignity, they are the first ones to respond in every calamity. Just like when a powerful earthquake hit Bohol, they are the ones who corresponds first because of the damage roads, establishments that hindrance for the land transportation to rescue at that time. Using their battle gear, the airplanes, and the helicopter, they save lives and give hopes for the people in Bohol. They transported the aid teams and relief goods to Bohol.

But that's not the end; remember when the most powerful recorded typhoon in history, Super Typhoon Yolanda devastated Tacloban City, Leyte. And other parts of the Central Philippines, the PAF quickly responded even though the headquarters of Tactical Operations Group (TOG) 8, was destroyed at Daniel Romualdez Airport. They still work and help the victims and the people in Tacloban. It didn't stop them being a soldier they fulfill their duties and responsibility as a civil servant that set to fight and protect the Filipinos and the country Philippines.

And for it's the newest duty, about Air Force transitions to territorial defense, it has increased its aerial surveillance flights over the West Philippine Sea. As the fight continues to be a discussion, these flights provided defense officials and other policymakers with developments in the area, particularly illegal construction activities by other countries.

But the Philippine Air force is not just all about defense or security; they are also helping small projects or community duties such as environmental protection, support to law
enforcement, assisting in socio-economic development, and participation in the Habitat for Humanity program as well as Brigada Eskwela among others. They might have brave hearts, also they still and always a soft spot for small things may someone can see, but has a huge impact it could be.

Time will come where the sky turns gray, and storms may arrive one way or another, and bring chaos to the safe skies. That will be the time were heroes going to flight, for a fight and soar high to the top until it back to be safe skies.
