𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕

The Future Educators Organization (FEO) led the virtual orientation today, August 22, 2026. Due to inclement weather and the ongoing suspension of classes, the original orientation date was moved from August 11 to August 22, 2026.

The virtual event was hosted by the President of FEO, Mr. Jaypee Serrano, and Vice President, Ms. Princess Anvhie Magpuri, together with the FEO executive officers.

As part of the orientation, Prof. Bernadette F. Lim, Chairperson of the Department of Teacher Education (DTE), presided over the program and delivered the welcoming remarks to officially greet the new entrants for this academic year.

Following the welcoming message, Dr. Ariel G. Santos, Director for Instruction, also welcomed the freshmen and discussed the academic expectations and guidelines for the academic year.

The Campus Administrator, Dr. Lauro B. Pascua, also addressed the new entrants with a warm and heartfelt message. He further reminded them to observe academic integrity and to be responsible members of the academic community.

Following the welcoming message, Ms. Gellie Espinola, Junior Adviser of the Future Educators Organization (FEO), introduced the faculty members of the Department of Teacher Education and their designated subjects.

The orientation continued with Mr. Jimple Jay R. Maligro, Coordinator of Student Development Services (SDS), who discussed student activities and support services. Also, Ma’am Maria Sheryl D. Binamira, ISPS Coordinator, then shared information about Scholarship Services. Professor Janet L. Rodriguez, Director of OSAS and NSTP Coordinator, briefed the students on NSTP requirements. Guidance services were also highlighted by Ma’am Nila Sosa-Castro, Guidance Counselor.

The program also included presentations on Departmental Course Guidelines and Policies by Ma’am Velma B. Ocampo and Ma’am Rhoda B. Velez.

The program concluded with the closing remarks of Mr. Allen Ven David, Senior Adviser of FEO, who encouraged the new entrants to become responsible and committed students.
