Another history of UDIAO ES!
A story, a milestone for keeps!

In celebration of Children^s Month, the school unfolded ^MAMA KO, PAPA KO, IDOLO KO^ Singing Duet Contest last November 28, 2025. The highlight of the celebration that leaves a mark in the heart of the entire school community.

The competition was the first-ever singing duet contest of UES which was conceptualized by the competent school head, Mr. Reynaldo O. Balileng., Principal II (who will supposed to be doing an intermision number together with her Grade 5 daughter but missed the opporunity because of his hoarse voice) and through the support of all the strong teaching and non-teaching personnel and SPTA officials headed by the President, Kagawad Teofilo S. Garcia and with the all out support of Punong Barangay of Udiao Hon. Fernando R. Molina.

Mrs. Lorelie O. Apolinar and Mrs. Georgia B. Madriaga with the assistance of Dr. Crisanta M. Balileng spearheaded the said competition. Mr. Aladdin D. Molina even made the celebration colorful with his wit and humor in leading the program. Some of the UEStagers members in the primary level with the supervision of their lead adviser, Mrs. Cecilia D. Anas also showcased their talent in dancing and Mrs. Melody L. Andal, one of the Kindergarten teacher shared her singing talent during the program.Behind the lay-out of the promotional tarpauline of the program was Mrs. Aubrey Jie A. Basallo.

Members of the board of judges includes Mr. Joseph E. Florendo Jr., Principal II of Amlang ES, Mrs. Marjorie E. Santillan (who shared her singing prowess) and Mrs. Elvira A. Salayon, Head Teacher III and Master Teacher I respectively of Cadumanian ES.

The winners of the first ever Singing Duet are as follows: Champion- Mrs. Norisa and Praise Hedriel J. Rotas, adviser Mrs. Milagros Pisquel, 1st runner up Mrs. Jezebel and Shaffeeiah Allen Abella , adviser Mrs. Milagros Pisquel, and 2nd runner up Mrs. Rochiel and Retxel Aicer Licos, adviser Dr. Crisanta M. Balileng.

Twelve duets from different grade level participated the said contest.

Ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon ay kaisa ng international community at buong bansa sa pagdiriwang ng International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples (IDWIP) ngayong araw, Agosto 9, na may temang "Indigenous Peoples and AI: Defending Rights, Shaping Futures".

Sa ilalim ng local theme na “Ating Pandayin ang Kinabukasan, Gabay ang Katutubong Karunungan at Karapatan,” tuon ng DepEd sa pagdiriwang ang kontribusyon ng mga bagong teknolohiya sa pagsusulong ng karapatan at paghubog sa kinabukasan sa ating mga Katutubong komunidad, partikular sa edukasyon.

In light of the anticipated continuous heavy rainfall caused by 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠, face-to-face classes at all levels in public and private schools and work in government offices in the Province of La Union will be suspended tomorrow, July 24, 2025.

Offices that offer essential services such as health, disaster preparedness, and response will remain operational.

Meanwhile, suspension of work in private companies is encouraged and left at the discretion of their respective office heads.

𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲!
In accordance with 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨. 𝟏3, 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, issued by the Local Chief Executive, classes in Pre-School to Senior High School—both public and private—in the Municipality of Rosario, La Union, are hereby suspended on July 22, 2025, due to prevailing inclement weather conditions.

This precautionary measure is undertaken to ensure the safety and welfare of all students, teaching personnel, and school staff.

All concerned are advised to take the necessary precautions and to monitor further announcements from the municipal government.

Tunghayan ang National Launching of the Expanded School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) ngayong Lunes, Hulyo 21.

Bilang pagbibigay halaga ng DepEd sa early childcare nutrition, pormal na ilulunsad ang universal feeding for Kindergarten Learners sa ilalim ng SBFP sa mga pampublikong paaralan sa buong Pilipinas.
