Did you know?
While food is being thrown away, the resources used to produce it are also wasted. 🍽️🌎 According to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), nearly 1 in every 3 meals produced worldwide is lost or wasted. This means water, energy, land, and labor used in food production are also wasted.

Even more concerning, food that ends up in landfills produces greenhouse gases that contribute to climate change. So every unfinished plate actually has a bigger environmental impact than we think.

But here’s the good news, we can do something about it! Simple habits like finishing meals, storing food properly, and taking only what we can eat can already make a big difference.
