In accordance to the recommendation of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) with Department of Education Order No. 22, s. 2024, all face-to-face classes on August 19, 2026 (Wednesday) have been shifted to 𝗕𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 due to possible effects of the Enhanced Southwest Moonsoon (Habagat).

Students are advised to coordinate with their respective teachers regarding learning activities, schedules, and other necessary instructions.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 128, alternative learning modes shall be implemented in all public and private schools on August 18, 2026 (Tuesday).

In line with this, classes at all levels are shifted to 𝗕𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 due to the anticipated continued heavy rainfall brought about by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Students are advised to coordinate with their respective teachers regarding learning activities, schedules, and other necessary instructions.

It may be recalled that Aarene Matillda H. Ocampo of Grade 9 – St. Matthew, represented the Philippines at the Artsense International Arts Festival & Competition 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Today, August 12, following the Novena to Saint Joseph, Santo Rosario Academy community proudly recognized Aarene for her remarkable achievement as the Vocal Solo Grand Champion in the Ages 13–15 category and recipient of the Artsense Distinction Gold Award.

𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘!

We understand everyone’s excitement for the continuation of Intramurals 2026, especially with the games originally scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.

However, due to the effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), enhanced by Tropical Cyclone Maymay, along with the recent class suspensions, adjustments to the schedule are necessary.

After careful consideration, the school administration has decided to move the continuation of Intramurals 2026 to Friday, August 14, until Saturday, August 15, 2026.

𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗬–𝗧𝗛𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗗𝗔𝗬 | 𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝟭𝟬-𝟭𝟯

Regular classroom instruction will be conducted to help recover the missed instructional time and learning competencies caused by the recent suspensions.

𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙚: Some specific games may still be held on selected days after regular class hours. Details will be announced through the respective group chats and official school announcements during our regular school days.

As we conduct our Intramurals, Santo Rosario Academy welcomed Aaron Bilano Precilla, a.k.a. Coach A, as guest speaker for a Sports Clinic last August 5, 2026.

The session focused on promoting sports safety, proper preparation, and an active lifestyle as students took part in various exercises and drills in preparation for the school’s athletic activities.

Through Coach A’s experience as a multi-sport athlete and endurance runner, students were encouraged to stay disciplined, prepared, and safe both on and off the playing field.

In view of the class suspension, the ONGOING 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 are hereby rescheduled to Monday, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟬 and Tuesday, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Students are advised to use this time for Modular Distance Learning (MDL) and to accomplish their academic requirements while classes remain suspended.
