RWCS Celebrates Milestones in Successful Graduation Rites 2026

Romblon West Central School successfully held its Graduation Rites for School Year 2025–2026, celebrating the achievements of its learners. The ceremony featured a processional march, national anthem, invocation, and meaningful messages highlighting gratitude and perseverance.

Key highlights included the presentation and official confirmation of graduates led by Principal Franco M. Rico and District Schools Supervisor Joseph G. Menorca. Certificates and awards were given to recognize academic excellence and outstanding performance.

The event was further enriched by the inspiring speech of the guest speaker, Atty. Shermela Chan Estipona who shared words of wisdom and encouragement, urging the graduates to pursue their dreams with determination and integrity.

The RWCS faculty extends its congratulations to all completers and graduates for their remarkable accomplishments and wishes them continued success in their future endeavors.

RWCS Holds Annual Recognition Rites at Romblon Public Plaza
Romblon, March 30, 2026 — Romblon West Central School (RWCS) celebrated the achievements of its learners during its annual Recognition Rites held at the Romblon Public Plaza this afternoon, honoring outstanding students for the 2025–2026 school year.

The ceremony brought together students, parents, teachers, and community members in a vibrant celebration of academic and extracurricular excellence. RWCS Principal Mr. Franco Rico opened the program, commending the perseverance of both learners and teachers despite the challenges of the past year.
The event also showcased the talents of students through intermission performances from different grade levels. After the performances, class advisers announced awardees for academic excellence and special awards, recognizing achievements in academics, leadership, sports, and community service.
Awardees received medals and ribbons, while the crowd expressed pride and support as parents and guardians congratulated the honorees.
The program concluded with a message from Alexandra de Chavez, President of the RWCS Parents-Teachers Association, who thanked the teachers, staff, and community partners for their support and highlighted the true meaning of success among learners.

It was with deep honor that we welcomed Ms. Melissa Alcazar of the The MELBA Foundation last Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

Her visit was a special opportunity to witness the joyful impact of the piano she generously donated in 2024. We watched as children confidently played and sang, their talents shining brightly. This beautiful scene reaffirmed that music is a powerful force—it nurtures creativity, builds confidence, fosters community, and offers healing.
