RWCS Holds Annual Recognition Rites at Romblon Public Plaza
Romblon, March 30, 2026 — Romblon West Central School (RWCS) celebrated the achievements of its learners during its annual Recognition Rites held at the Romblon Public Plaza this afternoon, honoring outstanding students for the 2025–2026 school year.
The ceremony brought together students, parents, teachers, and community members in a vibrant celebration of academic and extracurricular excellence. RWCS Principal Mr. Franco Rico opened the program, commending the perseverance of both learners and teachers despite the challenges of the past year.
The event also showcased the talents of students through intermission performances from different grade levels. After the performances, class advisers announced awardees for academic excellence and special awards, recognizing achievements in academics, leadership, sports, and community service.
Awardees received medals and ribbons, while the crowd expressed pride and support as parents and guardians congratulated the honorees.
The program concluded with a message from Alexandra de Chavez, President of the RWCS Parents-Teachers Association, who thanked the teachers, staff, and community partners for their support and highlighted the true meaning of success among learners.
