We, the Philippine Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers–Pre Professional Group (PSABE PPG), imploring the aid of the Almighty God, in order to establish a reliable student organization that shall promote our common good, embody our ideals and aspirations in uplifting and broadening the knowledge on the principles and practices of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering to feed our ambition for the future, foster unity and leadership to protect the organization and the Philippine Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers (PSABE) as a whole and to promote better understanding of the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering profession for a mechanized and sustainable agriculture sector, do hereby ordain and promulgate this constitution. VISION
Organized Society Recognized by the Government and the People that gives a hope to the Brighter Philippines . MISSION

The PSABE – PPG committed to provide advanced knowledge and innovation; develop skills, talents and values; undertake relevant research, development and extension services; promote international camaraderie and environmental consciousness; and enhance strong presence of Bayaws and linkages with International Agricultural and Biosystems Students.

The 3𝐫𝐝 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 (𝐁𝐒𝐀𝐁𝐄) students conducted an educational tour as part of their academic requirements in ABE 3216 - AB Structures Engineering visiting the 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 and a local 𝗜𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 in Romblon, Romblon as part of their experiential learning activities.

During the visit to the slaughterhouse, the facility manager, 𝐴𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑎 𝑀𝑜𝑟𝑎𝑙𝑒𝑠, shared valuable insights about the proper slaughtering process, sanitation practices, and important protocols followed to ensure safe and quality meat production.

The students also visited an ice plant where discussions focused on the refrigeration process and how ice is produced and stored to help maintain the freshness and quality of fish—an essential practice that supports the local fishing industry.

The tour provided the students with a deeper understanding of real-world applications of engineering principles in food processing, preservation, and post-harvest systems.

The students, including Engr. Emie Fajel, the Faculty-in-charge, would like to express their sincere gratitude to the Romblon Municipal Slaughterhouse, the Ice Plant management, and the Municipality of Romblon for warmly accommodating the group and generously sharing their time and knowledge despite their busy schedules. Their support greatly contributed to making this educational tour a meaningful and valuable learning experience for the future Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Gov. Trina Firmalo-Fabic for accepting and accommodating us in Romblon Provincial Guest House. We are truly grateful.

The BSABE 3rd Year students successfully conducted an educational visit to the PAGASA–Romblon Synoptic Station as part of their academic requirement in ABE 3217 – Hydrometeorology last February 26-27, 2026, in Romblon, Romblon, under the guidance of Engr. Jane Faith F. Falceso.
The activity provided students with valuable insights into real-time weather monitoring, data collection systems, and hydrometeorological instrumentation. Through this hands-on field exposure, they deepened their understanding of the concepts discussed in class and gained a greater appreciation of their practical applications.
We sincerely extend our gratitude to the Head of PAGASA–Romblon Station, Mr. Richard Magayam, and the entire staff for their warm accommodation and for generously sharing their time and expertise, which greatly enriched the students’ learning experience.
