November 2014, the Grand Opening of Mount of Moriah Mission International Center/Building was held at Phase 1K area in Kasiglahan Village, Brgy. The building started with a Church named Mount of Moriah Church while preparing the center for the Light of Hope Christian Learning Center. When the processing of all the documents necessary for Light o

f Hope Christian Learning Center Incorporated was finished, the proposal for nursery and kindergarten school has been submitted and accepted on early 2015.

The game started slowly, with SJCR taking an early 11-6 lead over LHCA in the first quarter. Two teams did not start intensely, yet one team gradually gained dominance.

Fast-and-furious games start in the early 2nd quarter as the score gets to 12-15, making it easier for LHCA to catch up to SJCR's early lead.

However, at the end of the 2nd quarter, SJCR remained dominant as they got an 18-36 with intense moves and excellent teamwork.

SJCR maintained their dominance in the 3rd quarter with a score of 24-63 up to the finals with 32-63.

“Yung connection ng mga bawat player na kakampi namin, tapos yung bigayan ng bola. Yung iba kasi is crocodile… Siguro, kulang na rin sa training. Kasi ilang beses lang kami ng training, halos mga nasa dalawang beses lang. Hindi kami makapag training ng maayos e," said John Urie Meñale, the MVP of LHCA's basketball team.

James Rafael Infante also stated that they only trained 2 times because of frequent typhoons, resulting in difficulties in keeping up in the actual game.

Some players were injured but still managed to play on the court with perseverance.

Long before the match, LHCA was preparing for the game. Led by Coach Echo and Coach Fatima, during warm-up session laid out the groundwork—sharpening coordination and tightening team chemistry ahead of the heated encounter.

During first set, LHCA played confidently, started with cheers as they got the first points but SJCR quickly answered with two points in a row to take an early lead. LHCA kept up the pressure point by point coming back even as St. Joseph's College of Rodriguez led 23-18. Staying calm under pressure, LHCA pushed through to win the set 25-21. The win was due to teamwork and precise play showing the team’s discipline and smart strategy.

In the second set, LHCA carried the momentum, struck first in the second set—but SJCR refused to back down, charging back to rouse the crowd with their own rally. LHCA remained unshaken. Guided by Coach Echo’s idea to adjust their strategies and attacks, the team exploded for five unanswered points to build a commanding 13-6 advantage. Powered by Kim Pamorca and Joana Estacion aggressive hitting and unyielding determination, LHCA never surrendered to secure a decisive victory.

Kim Pamorca said, "Our strategies help us focus on ourselves because we trust our team. When we face difficulties, our team members sometimes lose their way in the game."

She also emphasized the importance of improving the team's communication and maintaining a positive mindset throughout their games.

Light of Hope Christian Academy showed that their strength lies not only in talent, but in teamwork, proving their readiness to compete in this year’s tournament.

SUSPENSION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS - PUBLIC & PRIVATE

SUSPENDIDO ANG FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES in ALL LEVELS sa lahat ng pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Bayan ng Montalban, bukas, Agosto 11, 2026. Para sa mga apektadong mag-aaral, ipatutupad ang Alternative Distance Learning Modalities alinsunod sa mga alituntunin ng kanilang paaralan.

Bukod dito, kasalukuyan pa ring ginagamit bilang evacuation centers ang ilang paaralan sa ating bayan upang magsilbing ligtas na lugar para sa mga residenteng naapektuhan.
