Although substance use disorders are chronic and treatable medical conditions, studies show people with these disorders still face discrimination and stigma (a set of negative attitudes and stereotypes) that can impact their health and well-being in numerous ways. This stigma also affects people who use drugs who do not have a substance use disorder.

Today, july 31 2026. The 𝑩𝑨𝑹𝑲𝑨𝑫𝑨 𝑲𝑶𝑵𝑻𝑹𝑨 𝑫𝑹𝑶𝑮𝑨 (𝑩𝑲𝑫) together with the supreme student learners government and gender and development organization meets with Capt. 𝐆𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐧 𝐒. 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚 in the baranggay hall.

The 𝐁𝐊𝐃 presents it's project, 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙅𝙀𝘾𝙏 𝙊𝙆𝘼𝙔 (𝙊𝘯𝘦 𝙆𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘭𝘢𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘼 𝘿𝘳𝘶𝘨-𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝙔𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩) which aims to promote a 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞 and 𝐝𝐫𝐮𝐠-𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 environment for every learner.

To join the Blind Date Booth, participants must 𝗽𝗮𝘆 𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝟭𝟱 𝗽𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘀 𝘂𝗽𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Each participant will be randomly matched with another participant for a short and friendly blind date session as part of our 𝗙𝗲𝗯-𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. At the scheduled time, our assigned booth staff or “Cupids” will respectfully fetch the participant from their classroom and es**rt them to the booth. If a participant chooses not to proceed with the blind date, 𝟭𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝟱 𝗽𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 to cover the effort and time spent by the booth staff in fetching them from their room. The blind date will last for a limited time only to give others the opportunity to participate. All participants are expected to behave respectfully, use appropriate language, and maintain proper conduct throughout the activity.
