Do you know why soil is important?— Here's why:

•It helps produce the oxygen when we breathe, by supporting plants life. Without healthy soil, Trees could not grow to clean our air.

•It helps soak up heavy rain just like a giant sponge. This process keeps the ground stable and helps prevent dangerous floods.

•Soil helps plants by providing the essential food and water they need to grow. It also gives the roots a strong place to hold.

•Lastly, It helps people by providing special bacteria found in dirt.
