Look: On Saturday, 14 March 2026, the University of Rizal System ROTC Unit conducted it's 10th and 11th Training Day featuring Immediate Action Drill and Raid. SSg Miguel C Wong Jr (Inf) PA lectured on Immediate Action Drill and Raid, while C/LTC Cristy L Larisma 1CL supervised practical exercises. Cadets learned to respond quickly, follow commands, conduct raids, and move as a disciplined unit.

In accordance with leadership of 1LT VALENTIN G LOPEZ JR PA (RES), Assistant Commandant, the training ended with a final briefing to review lessons learned and evaluate the cadets’ readiness and coordination.

This ROTC Cadet Graduation Ceremony represents dedication, discipline, and determination. With patriotism in the heart and knowledge gained from training, they are ready to begin a future of service, leadership, and excellence.

Charlie Company, 405RRIBn Conducted 1st Quarter 2026 Mustering and RRU Evaluation

Charlie Company successfully conducted its 1st Quarter 2026 Mustering of Troops on 12 April 2026 at Tagumpay National High School, Brgy. San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal. The activity aimed to ensure accurate troop accounting, enhance unit readiness, and strengthen the overall operational posture of the company. The Activity led by Charlie Company Commanding Officer, 1LT VALENTIN G LOPEZ JR PA (RES) and was formally presided over by COL MELGEVAL B HILAO INF (GSC) PA, Director, 405th Community Defense Center whose presence provided guidance and emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline and preparedness.

The activity also featured the Awarding of the Military Commendation Medal to qualified personnel for their commendable performance and valuable contributions to the unit’s mission accomplishment.

The success of the mustering reflects the dedication, professionalism, and unity of the men and women of Charlie Company and 405th Community Defense Center who continue to uphold the highest standards of service and readiness in fulfilling their duty to the nation.

After the activity, personnel from the 80th Infantry Battalion, 2ID, PA conducted Evaluation of the Ready Reserve Unit. The purpose of this is to Evaluate preparedness and readiness of the Ready Reserve Unit to support the Regular Force in the events of war, invasion, rebellion and to assist during Disaster, Calamities and Humanitarian Assistance and Disater Relief.

Sa pagdiriwang ng ika-84 Araw ng Kagitingan, binibigyang pagkilala ang katapangan at sakripisyo ng mga bayaning Pilipino na buong tatag na lumaban para sa kalayaan ng ating bansa. Ang kanilang pamana ay patuloy na nagbibigay inspirasyon sa mga kadete ng ROTC upang itaguyod ang disiplina, pagiging makabayan, at tapat na paglilingkod sa bayan.

Bilang mga pinuno ng hinaharap, dinadala natin ang kanilang diwa ng kabayanihan sa ating pangako na maglingkod, mamuno, at protektahan ang mga pagpapahalagang nagbibigay-kahulugan sa ating bansa.

Look: On March 7, 2026, the URS ROTC Unit conducted its 9th Training Day featuring Civil Military Operations with Cpl Genmay C Alcantara PA (Res) and Basic Unit Formation led by C/LTC Larisma Cristy L 1CL Cadets enhanced their understanding of civil-military collaboration and practiced fundamental unit formations.

Under the leadership of MAJ ALEJANDRO M ORIÑA JR (OS) PA, Commandant, the activity concluded with a final briefing to review lessons learned and performance assessment.

Look: On Saturday, 28 February 2026, the University of Rizal System ROTC Unit held its 8th Training Day, focusing on Army Operations and Visual Tracking. Cadets learned the key steps in planning and managing military operations under CPL Erwin R Antonio (INF) PA, and practiced visual tracking techniques guided by Sgt Gabriel N Velasco PA (Res).

Under the leadership of MAJ ALEJANDRO M ORIÑA JR (OS) PA, Commandant, the cadets concluded the day with a final briefing to review lessons learned and assess their application in field scenarios. “Preparing cadets for real-world scenarios by teaching operational procedures and sharpening their ability to detect and follow enemy tracks on the field.”

Look: On Saturday, 21 February 2026, the University of Rizal System ROTC Unit conducted a special training session focused on disaster preparedness. Cadets learned essential skills for preparing and responding to emergencies, with hands-on guidance and instruction by C/MAJ Obrique Jay Vincent F 1CL.

In accordance with leadership of MAJ ALEJANDRO M ORIÑA JR (OS) PA, Commandant, the cadets wrapped up the day with final briefings. The training ended successfully.
