In accordance to Series of 2001 Presidential Proclamation No. 124, Drug Abuse Prevention and Control (DAPC) week is observed every third week of November to raise public awareness about the dangers of illegal drugs and to encourage public cooperation in the anti-drug campaign.

With this year’s theme, “Prioritizing Health-Based Approach in Drug Abuse Prevention and Control".

Its purpose is significant, hence the method of ex*****on must also be proper and non-violent. Thus, this week is dedicated to raising awareness.

Together, let’s strive for a safer, healthier, and peaceful future.

We are happy to express our sincere gratitude to our 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚 President Bea Denise B. Mauyao, 𝗕𝗞𝗗 President Maureen Charizze N. Ticangen, and 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 President Eissa Ranchezca Louise Ugot for proudly representing Rizal National High School at the Girl Scouts of the Philippines ( GSP ) Nueva Ecija Council. We also want to acknowledge the persistent support and commitment of Ma’am Analyn Sagadraca, our Head Teacher III of Filipino Department, as the troupe leader.

Relative to the GSP Special Scheme Program Orientation held on October 11, 2024 at Escoda Program and Training Center Palayan City, Nueva Ecija in celebration of 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹, was the Election of the Editorial Board. We are delighted to share the news that our very own BKD President that is also the Executive Editor/Editor-in-Chief of “Ang Tinig” (Official Filipino Publication of Rizal National High School), Maureen Charizze N. Ticangen has been elected to the position of Editor-in-Chief in the official journal of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines Nueva Ecija Council's 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 ( 𝗝𝗝𝗚 ).

Be a great leader by writing and leaving an impact that motivates people to pursue their dreams and learn new things.

LOOK: RNHS - BKD (Barkada Kontra Droga) participated and won first place in “Pagbuo ng Alituntunin ng Samahan” or By-Laws in the recently-concluded Buwan ng Wika 2024 brought by the Filipino Department and the Filipino Club Officers.

September 11, 2024 - 𝗕𝗞𝗗 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚, 𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, had participated on this tree planting activity.🌱

Today signifies the commencement of a significant endeavor. The Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) has joined forces with the SSLG, YES-O, Science Club, STE Club, Class Presidents, and the Science Department Teachers to inaugurate the Environmental Information and Education Advocacy Program seminar under the theme "Our Earth, Our Responsibility: Environmental Awareness Initiatives."

Our guest speaker, Mr. Rommel E. Bilog, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer (MENRO), shared valuable insights with us about conserving our natural resources. He discussed topics such as biodiversity, solid waste management, clean-up drives, clean and green programs, the waste collection process, proper recycling methods, and the relevant environmental laws. This knowledge will help us become more aware of environmental issues and enable us to share and promote what we learned during the seminar with fellow students and teachers.

This program serves as a platform for acquiring knowledge, active participation, and taking action on crucial environmental concerns such as climate change, resource preservation, and pollution mitigation. Through education, community engagement, and implementable strategies, we are addressing urgent environmental issues and advocating sustainability. By participating in this initiative, we are not only committing to making eco-conscious decisions in our daily routines but also championing broader systemic transformations.

On the 28th of August, the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) together with the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Rizal National High School conducted their very first room-to-room Advocacy Campaign to raise awareness about the strict prohibition against the use of any form of ci******es or e-ci******es in the school premises.
