𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 I 𝙎𝙂𝘾 𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙩𝙬𝙤 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙜𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚

The School Governance Council (SGC) conducted an election for its new Co-chairperson and Secretary for School Year 2026–2027 at the School-Based Management (SBM) Room of Reina Mercedes Vocational and Industrial School (RMVIS) to strengthen shared governance, improve planning, decision making, and monitoring of school programs, July 17, 2026.
The program was spearheaded by School Principal II Dr. Mai Rani Kristine A. Zipagan following the introduction of the participants and the presentation of the election officers, Sir Jessie Balingao, Sir Loui Anthony Luy, and outgoing SGC Secretary Ma'am Karina Simeon.
The election of the new SGC Co-Chairperson and Secretary was conducted through secret balloting led by the election officers to ensure the confidentiality of the voting process.
Furthermore, two official candidates vied for the position of SGC Co-Chairperson, while another two candidates ran for the position of SGC Secretary.
Additionally, Schools Division Office (SDO) Isabela SGC Focal Person Manolo Bagunu delivered an inspiring message emphasizing the structure and purpose of the SGC further explaining that the council is composed of representatives from the Parents-Teachers Association (PTA), School Heads, Alumni, and the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), whose collaboration contributes to the continuous improvement of the school.
After the voting process, the newly elected SGC officers for School Year 2026–2027 were officially announced. Out of the 12 official ballots, 10 members casted their votes, while two abstained.
Aligned with this, Clover Molina Frogozo was officially proclaimed as the new SGC Secretary, while Mr. Jonathan Tandul was elected as the new SGC Co-Chairperson.
The program concluded with a renewed commitment among the SGC members and stakeholders to uphold responsible leadership and strengthen collaboration in implementing programs and activities that will contribute to the continuous development of the school community.
