On Friday, August 14, 2026, Banquero Integrated School successfully conducted its Brigada Eskwela Plus, made possible through the active participation and support of our dedicated parents.

The activity brought together parents who willingly shared their time, effort, and skills in helping improve and maintain the school environment. From cleaning and organizing to various school improvement activities, their collective efforts contributed to making the school a safer, cleaner, and more welcoming place for our learners.

In support of the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan (LNK) 2026, Banquero Integrated School actively participated in the municipality-wide activity held on August 6, 2026, in partnership with the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Reina Mercedes and the Local Government Unit.

The activity highlighted meaningful programs that promote youth development, environmental stewardship, and community service. Learners enthusiastically took part in the Tree Planting Activity, while selected beneficiaries also availed of the Medical Mission and Project Gunting (Free Haircut Program). These initiatives aimed to instill social responsibility, encourage active citizenship, and promote the overall well-being of the youth.

In adherence to the Department of Education's Non-Disruption of Classes Policy, all activities were conducted following the prescribed schedule to ensure that regular classroom instruction was not affected.

The first evaluation of the School-Based Search for Best in Gulayan sa Paaralan Program (GPP)at Banquero Integrated School was successfully conducted on August 5, 2026.

The activity was led by Ma'am Emelita L. Calaunan, Elementary GPP Coordinator, and Ma'am Michelle M. Nicolas, Secondary GPP Coordinator. The evaluation showcased the hard work, cooperation, and creativity of the teachers, learners, and stakeholders in maintaining productive and well-managed school gardens.

This evaluation marks only the beginning, as a Second Phase Evaluation will also be conducted to further assess the continuous development and improvement of each garden.

Banquero Integrated School successfully conducted its First General School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) Meeting on July 18, 2026, bringing together parents, teachers, and key stakeholders to strengthen collaboration in support of the school's programs and the holistic development of every learner.

A significant highlight of the activity was the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the Newly Elected SPTA Executive Committee Officers for School Year 2026โ€“2027, formally installing the new set of officers who will serve as partners of the school in implementing programs and initiatives that promote quality, inclusive, and learner-centered education.

The school extends its sincere appreciation to SB BANJO R. ADDUN, Sangguniang Bayan Member and Chairman of the Committee on Education, Local Government Unit of Reina Mercedes, for serving as the Inducting Officer.
