Another blessing has arrived for Wakat Elementary School! ๐ŸŽŠ

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga del Sur, under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Margie Arcite- Machon, officially turned over the DICT Starlink Kit - School Connectivity Drive, providing free internet access to the school and the surrounding community within its coverage area.

This initiative forms part of the government's "Connectivity Enhancement Program for E-Learning in Public Schools", which aims to connect thousands of public schools and remote learning sites across the country, expanding access to quality digital education.

The turnover ceremony was attended by Hon. Dante Yano, Barangay Captain of Wakat, and Ma'am Guillerlin P. Oceรฑa-Recto, School Head of Wakat Elementary School.

Wakat Elementary School extends its heartfelt gratitude to Ramon Magsaysay District Jail โ€“ BJMP Regional Office IX for its unwavering support to education through the agency's "BAON Program" and "ABAKADA Program" .

On June 27, 2026, under the leadership of JCINSP Julius Caesar G. Soriano, together with his fellow jail officers, 48 learner-beneficiaries of Wakat Elementary School were provided with nutritious meals and received school supplies, including notebooks, pens, lunch boxes, and water tumblers.

The genuine smiles and joy on the children's faces were a touching reminder that kindness and compassion leave a lasting impact beyond material gifts. Wakat Elementary School sincerely appreciates this meaningful initiative and hopes that these programs will continue to inspire and uplift more learners in the years to come.
