APAD ES Strengthens Disaster Preparedness Through Earthquake and Fire Drill

Apad Elementary School successfully conducted earthquake and fire drills, actively involving learners, teachers, non-teaching personnel, and canteen operators. The exercises served as a timely reminder that disasters can strike at any moment, highlighting the importance of preparedness and rapid response.

Expertly guided by BFP Ragay personnel FO3 Jesus A Benjamin, FO1 Jaan Wilbur P Bernales, and FO1 Melquiades M Pama, participants practiced essential emergency procedures, including the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” technique, safe evacuation, and orderly assembly. Their presence reinforced the critical value of adhering to safety protocols during earthquakes and fires.

Apad ES continues to build a culture of safety and resilience. By equipping our community with essential emergency skills, we ensure that preparedness is more than a drill—it is a life-saving habit.

What an empowering day to all ladies, gentlemen and friends of Apad Elementary School!

Yesterday was a momentary celebration of gender equality and sensitivity awareness, raising respect for all women and gender during the celebration of Women's Month; Developing and finding courage to prevent and face fire by our magnificent moms at home; and helping everyone how to guide kids of all gender at home and in school.

A multitude of gratitude to the reputable speakers who are really experts in their field. Dr. Dorren D. Arenque of Research and Extension of PUP-Ragay Campus, and FO2 Mary Ann B. Naron of BFP Ragay. To the over-all chairman and School GAD Coordinator, Mrs. Ana Crisnelia G. Mangilin, and the School Principal, Ms. Lorna A. Encinas, for pushing through this very beautiful and memorable event in one of the best venues in Ragay - the Roten A. Ofuro Resort!

Its outstanding impact to the participants especially to the selected parents are definitely commendable. Teachers and parents of Apad ES are harmoniously working together for the welfare of its schoolchildren. Indeed, it is truly and wonderfully another beautiful memory to last forever!

A Triumph Worth Celebrating. 🏆👏

We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of our campus journalist, Marjore Thea D. Pagaduan, EIC of The Railway Chronicle, who emerged as 1st Place winner in Editorial Writing during the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2025, held at Milaor Central School.

Her dedication, discipline, and passion for campus journalism truly shone through, proving that excellence is achieved through hard work and heart. She carried the name of the school with pride and delivered a performance worthy of this remarkable victory.

With this triumph, she now advances to the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) in Legazpi City this coming January 2026, where she will continue to showcase her skill and represent our school on a bigger stage.
