LOOK | Quirino State University - Cabarroguis Campus (QSU - C) recognized its accredited student organizations for Academic Year 2025-2026 during the flag rites ceremony held this morning.

Among the newly accredited organizations are The Daily Need of the BS Hospitality Management (BSHM), the Association of Civil Engineering Students of QSU (ACES-QSU) of the BS Civil Engineering (BSCE), and the English Language Society of the Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies (BAELS), all operating under a departmental scope.

Also granted accreditation was Salt and Light, a campus-wide organization under the BAELS program, which extends its activities across the entire campus.

Meanwhile, re-accreditation was given to the Union of Young Hoteliers of the BSHM program, the Junior Marketing Association-QSU (JMAQSU) of the BS Business Administration (BSBA) program, and the Young Entrepreneur Society (YES) of the BS Entrepreneurship (BSEntrep) program.

In addition,the Automating Life through Generating Opportunities and Resources Towards Innovative Technological Mechanism Ideated by Computer Science Students (ALGORITMICSS) of the BS Computer Science (BSCS) program, the Pre-Service Teachers Integrated Skills and Arts Renaissance Alliance (PISARA) of the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd), the Phenomenal and Empowered Mathematician Driven Towards an Absolute and Specific Goals (PEMDAS) of the BS Mathematics (BSMath) program, and the Association of Student Kumadronas (ASK) of the BS Midwifery (BSMid) program.

Present at the event were Campus Administrator Prof. Baltazar Damance, Director for Instruction Dr. Magdalena Guinumtad, Campus Director for Student Affairs and Services (SAS) Wilyn Marzo, RSO Coordinator Ariane Ramos, along with the advisers of each accredited organization.

Notably, Dr. Ariel A. Lagunilla and Dr. Emma D. Aspiras represented the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship Department, presenting “Pandan-Flavored Salted Duck Egg” and “Banana ‘Saba’ Flour.”

The activity was headed and hosted by Dr. Ralleigh F. Vizcarra, Program Chairperson of the ISU-E Entrepreneurship Department, together with faculty members Dr. Vivian M. Dumrique, Mr. Jayson Gollayan, Mr. Exequiel Perez, and Mr. Rovick Vergara. Representing QSU-C, Mr. Westley B. Abluyen, Program Chairperson, was joined by his core faculty members: Dr. Emma D. Aspiras, Dr. Ariel A. Lagunilla, Ms. Christine Haya B. Maranion, and Ms. Valerie Joy P. Manicap. The engagement was held at the IPTBM Building, ISU-E.

This meaningful academic and professional collaboration aimed to strengthen institutional partnerships through benchmarking and joint discussions. The benchmarking activity allowed both departments to exchange best practices in curriculum design, instructional strategies, research initiatives, and extension services—ultimately aligning program standards with the evolving demands of entrepreneurship education.

Meanwhile, the joint discussion fostered knowledge-sharing and innovative dialogue on how both programs can better support students in developing a strong entrepreneurial mindset and spirit.

Through this strategic engagement, both QSU-C and ISU-E reaffirmed their shared commitment to academic excellence, professional growth, and the holistic development of future entrepreneurs.
