Citizenship Advancement Training is a course that is part of the fourth year high school curriculum.

Citizenship Advancement Training
is a training program for both Public and Private Secondary Schools in the Philippines. It aims to enhance the student's social responsibility and commitment to the development of their communities and develop their ability to uphold law and order as they assume active participation in community activities and in assisting the members of the community specially in

times of emergency. It originated as Preparatory Military Training (PMT) as provided for in Title III,Article I, Sec 52 of the National Defense Act. It was termed Citizen Army Training - I in 1973 as per AFPRG 314 - 033. It was restructured and termed Citizenship Development Training as per Dep Ed Order No. 35 s. 2003 dated May 13, 2003. Latest informations about its implementation are contained in Dep Ed Order No. 50 s. 2005 dated August 26, 2005

11TH TRAINING DAY | This 27 February 2026 , the Adu-BED NCAT successfully held its 11th Training Day at the Adamson University FRC Grounds.

During this session, the COCCs learned Parade Rest with the rifle and polished order arms. Some COCCs also learned basic rifle movements.

During this session, the COCCs polished basic rifle movements such as order of arms and manual of arms.

On February 18, 2026, We enter the sacred season as we observe Ash Wednesday

"Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return." — Genesis 3:19

As the sign of ashes is placed upon our foreheads, we are reminded of our humanity, our need for grace, and God's unfailing mercy. This holy day invites us into a season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving—a time to pause, reflect, and realign our hearts with God's will.

8TH TRAINING DAY| This 5 December 2025, the Adu-BED NCAT successfully held its 8th Training Day at the Adamson University FRC Grounds.

During this session, the COCCs polished forward marching in left and right direction with emphasis on Left Step, March movements.

A special thanks and a snappy salute to our alumnus and guest instructor CDT/LTCOL Quiel P Peregrino 1CL, who assisted the cadet officers in training the COCCs.
