A little late, but the sweetness of the celebration is worth sharing. ❤️

Teacher’s Day does not always have to be grand or elaborate. Sometimes, the simplest celebrations become the most meaningful ones—sharing food, laughter, stories, and precious moments with the people who understand the joys and challenges of being a teacher.

The cake reminds us of the sweetness of the teaching profession. 🍰 It represents the joy of seeing learners grow, improve, overcome challenges, and reach their dreams. Like every slice of cake, the teaching journey is made up of many moments—some sweet, some challenging, but all worth remembering.

And the bananas? They remind us to stay grounded, strong, and nourished as we continue this meaningful journey. Just as bananas provide nourishment, teachers continue to nourish their learners with knowledge, kindness, encouragement, and hope.

This simple celebration was also a reminder to appreciate the teachers behind the profession—those who continue to show up despite the busy days, endless paperwork, deadlines, and many responsibilities. Behind every teacher is a heart that gets tired, yet chooses to keep going, caring, and believing in every learner.

Special thanks to our School Principal, Ma’am Teresita C. Miranda, for this thoughtfulness. ❤️Your simple gesture gave us a reason to pause, enjoy, laugh together, and appreciate one another. You certainly made our Teacher’s Day celebration even sweeter—literally and figuratively! 🍰🍌

Prioritizing Mental Health, Strengthening Hope. 💚

A meaningful day of learning, awareness, and support for the Grade 11 and 12 students of Apyao National High School.

Sincere gratitude to our resource speaker, Dr. Lito Ministerio, DOH Doctor to the Barrio, for sharing valuable knowledge and insights on Anxiety, Depression, Suicidality, and Stress Management. Your time, expertise, and dedication to promoting mental health are deeply appreciated.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Romelyn Lledo, RN, MAN, Trained Mental Health Support System, and Rowena Adoracion, Midwife, for being with Dr. Lito in providing support and assistance throughout the activity.

The Screening and Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) on Anxiety, Depression, Suicidality, and Stress Management among Grade 11 & 12 Students; Mental Health and Psychological Support Services, held on September 24, 2026, reminded our learners that seeking help is a sign of strength and that no one has to face their struggles alone.

Thank you for helping us create a school community where mental health is valued, conversations are welcomed, and every learner is reminded that they matter. 💚
