Earlier this afternoon, several students of Apyao National High School experienced breathing difficulties. They were immediately attended to by the school personnel and responding emergency teams. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.

We respectfully appeal to everyone to refrain from spreading unverified information or speculations, including claims that the incident was caused by “nasaniban” or any similar rumors. Sharing unconfirmed information may cause unnecessary fear and confusion within our community. We encourage everyone to wait for the official findings and updates from the school and the appropriate authorities.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Butong Rescue Team, led by Hon. Kap. Nehru P. Tan, and to the members of the Tribal Council for their immediate response, assistance, and unwavering support during the incident. Their presence and cooperation greatly helped in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students.

We also thank all concerned individuals and agencies who extended their help and assistance.

United in service and environmental stewardship, our school successfully conducted a Tree Planting Activity and Dengue Search and Destroy Operation through the collaborative efforts of our PNP personnel, SSLG officers, teachers, and volunteers.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to MENRO Quezon, Bukidnon for generously providing the tree seedlings that will help make our community greener and more sustainable.

Thank you as well to everyone who participated and contributed their time, effort, and commitment to making this activity a success. Together, we continue to build a cleaner, healthier, and safer environment for all.
