While learners remained at home under the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) during the scheduled power interruption, the faculty and staff of Quezon National High School held a Management Committee Meeting at the school's Office Lounge to discuss academic, administrative, and learner-support priorities for Term 2.
Led by Sir Joel R. Antipolo, the meeting focused on sustaining the gains achieved during Term 1 through strengthened academic interventions, quality assessment practices, learner protection measures, and professional development initiatives.
Among the major matters discussed were the administration of the Simultaneous Rapid Math Assessment, preparation and validation of summative tests, implementation of remediation programs, and alignment of assessments with the Budget of Work (BOW) and Table of Specifications (TOS). Teachers were also encouraged to collaborate in crafting performance tasks to reduce learner workload while ensuring mastery of competencies.
The faculty likewise reviewed upcoming school activities, including World Teachers' Day celebrations, Parent-Teacher Conferences, summative assessments, year-end activities, district events, and division programs scheduled in the succeeding months.
Learner protection and campus safety also formed part of the discussions. Teachers were reminded to properly document incidents, strengthen reporting mechanisms, and continue implementing school safety and child protection policies.
Updates on professional development programs, promotion requirements, instructional supervision, and Learning and Development (L&D) activities were likewise presented to support the continuing growth of teaching personnel.
Antipolo also commended the faculty for the school's accomplishments during the first term, citing achievements in journalism, sports, science fairs, research, and other co-curricular competitions.
