Sa pangunguna ng Bureau of Learner Support Services, sa pamamagitan ng School Health Division at Learner Formation Division, ipinapatupad ng Kagawaran ang DepEd Order No. 48, s. 2016 (Policy and Guidelines on Comprehensive To***co Control) at ang DepEd Memorandum No. 111, s. 2019 (Prohibiting the Use of E-Cigarettes and other Electronic Ni****ne and Non-Ni****ne Delivery System and Reiterating the Absolute To***co Smoking Ban in Schools and DepEd Offices) upang tiyakin na tobacco-free at vape-free ang ating mga eskwelahan at mga tanggapan ng DepEd.
