Voices and Moves of Victory: CCTMNHS Shines with Two Championship Win

In the recently concluded National Arts Month Celebration 2026, held at the Quezon Municipal Covered Court on March 6, 2026, Cesar C. Tan Memorial National High School (CCTMNHS) proudly clinched two back-to-back championships, showcasing the remarkable talents of its learners in both music and dance.

Aniel Dubla of Grade 11 – STEM captivated the judges with her powerful and majestic voice through her impressive rendition of “Araw-Gabi,” earning First Place in the OPM Singing Competition. She was guided by her coach, Mrs. Monette V. Tuyay.

Meanwhile, the CCTMNHS Creative Contemporary Dance Team—composed of James Marantal, James Cabangon, Joshua Bañares, Patrick Funelas, Asher Rivamonte, Charice Villagomez, Tanya Clacio, Ann Jelica Japus, Aiesha Bihag, and Karylle Absalud—captured the judges’ attention with their energetic and synchronized performance of “Awit ng Lupa”, securing First Place in the Creative Contemporary Dance Competition. The team was coached by Sir Felix Butch Baliza and assisted by Sir Andy Amandy.

These remarkable victories were made possible through the unwavering support and inspiring leadership of the school principal, Dr. Minerva C. Luna, whose dedication continues to nurture excellence among the learners of CCTMNHS.
