August 16, 2026 – The king-and-queen tandem of Magtibay-Nera showcased a strong performance to secure 2nd place but fell short of the championship after EUC’s warrior duo edged them out, 7.4–6.8, in the Taekwondo Mixed Poomsae event at The Lady Mediatrix Institute, Inc. (TLMII).

Magtibay and Nera flaunted their magical synchronization but got stopped by Ponce and Magracia resulting to a moped loss.

The king-queen duo proved once again that TWA has it in them by winning yet another silver medal and securing 2nd place.

𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐁𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐍 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 🔰❤️‍🔥 || Opulencia Shatters the Expectations: Secures Bronze

August 16, 2026 - Opulencia gets fired down by a stack of disadvantages but placed himself on the edge of 3rd place with a score of 6.54 in the Taekwondo Boys Poomsae Singles at The Lady Mediatrix Institute, Inc. (TLMII).

Opulencia clinged on to victory with his overwhelming spirit and steadfast form fighting one of the Magracia brothers as he claimed his spot at the top.

Magracia of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation-Candelaria Incorporated (MSEUF-CI) wrote a 7.7-point win and coded gold medal in his name.

Aranas of Sta. Catalina National High School managed to rack 2nd place with a score of 6.6 points.

Opulencia offered yet another medal for TWA writing his name in the greatest.

August 16, 2026 - Carla Comia of Tayabas Western Academy (TWA) fired down graceful consecutive forms proving her dominance with a 0.61-point elevation against warriors from Dolores Macasaet National High School and Dr. Panfilo Castro National High School ending the category with an overall score of 7.31 in the Taekwondo Girls Poomsae Singles at The Lady Mediatrix Institute, Inc. (TLMII).

Comia proved her dominance throughout the category maintaining minimal point deductions that placed her on top.

Krishiela V. Uwanag of Dr. Panfilo Castro National High School put on a hard fight and claimed 2nd place with a 6.7 score while Staryline Calosa of Dolores Macasaet National High School ended up with 3rd place and a score of 6.5.

The Singles Poomsae queen, Carla Comia, prized yet another gold medal for her TWA.

August 16, 2026 - The Tayabas Western Academy (TWA) Trio, Carla Mae Comia, Jillian Cajes, and Jhyllianne Magtibay, with their precision and synchronized moves, racked a score of 6.53 but failed to capture its 0.17-point deficit loss from the queen trio of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation-Candelaria Incorporated (MSEUF-CI) in the Taekwondo Girls team, Poomsae category, at The Lady Mediatrix Institute, Inc. (TLMII).

Comia, Cajes, and Magtibay fought through the steadfast and graceful form of the EUC trio Fuentes, Delen, and Ponce along with the stacked disadvantage and managed to dismantle expectations recording 2nd place.

The TWA trio still honored Candelaria West district with its hard-fought silver medal.

Enverga University Foundation-Candelaria Incorporated (MSEUF-CI) trio and hooked 2nd place with a score of 6.53-7.06 and a 0.53 deficit on the Taekwondo Boys team, Poomsae category, at The Lady Mediatrix Institute, Inc. (TLMII).

Opulencia, Gungon, and Nera graced their way through the match against the Magracia brothers and Tuaño of EUC.

With unwavering fortitude and hard-earned grace, they pushed beyond their limits and brought another silver medal home for TWA.

August 16, 2026 – Cajes of Tayabas Western Academy (TWA), with her graceful and fast-moving choreography, showcased a strong performance in the Taekwondo Girls Freestyle, earning a hard-fought silver medal after a close 0.6-point margin (6.4–5.0) against Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation-Candelaria, Inc. (MSEUF-CI) representative Fuentes at The Lady Mediatrix Institute, Inc. (TLMII).

Fuentes of EUC denied to show her disadvantages and started with a firm and solid form moving through its choreography and outclassed Cajes in a clean battle.

Cajes of TWA with her hard trained movements and graceful kicks offered Candelaria West district with another silver medal.

August 16, 2026 - Josh Mandigma shot three consecutive body kicks followed up with a kick on the head that demolished MSEUF-CI player, Felizco, recording a 2-point advantage ending the match with a 12-10 (8-4, 12-10) in the Boys Category 6 - Taekwondo Sparring championship game at The Lady Mediatrix Institute, Inc. (TLMII).

Mandigma showed no fear and rushed to his enemy opening the fight with a head kick and resulted to an exchange of strikes sustained by his body shots that placed him in the advantage.

John Laurence Felizco of MSEUF-CI clinged to victory at the very last moment having an exceptional trade of strikes at the 2nd set but fell off short to complete its venture.

Mandigma now holds the future of Palarong Quezon on his back that awaits for him to unravel.

Enverga University Foundation-Candelaria Incorporated (MSEUF-CI) representative, Jared Tuaño, with a commanding lead of 0.73 ending with a score of 6.9-6.17 on the Taekwondo Boys Freestyle at The Lady Mediatrix Institute, Inc. (TLMII).

Gungon shattered TWA’s silver medal streak with a landslide victory, delivering graceful and powerful flying kicks that outmatched Tuaño’s style.

Gungon started another wave of fighting spirit through the TWA fighters with a gold medal on his back representing Candelaria as a whole.

August 16, 2026 - Kim De Ocampo of Tayabas Western Academy (TWA) got shut down early due to a kick on the jaw that resulted to the matches early finish in favor of the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation Candelaria Incorporated (MSEUF-CI) in the boys taekwondo sparring championship match at The Lady Mediatrix Institute, Inc. (TLMII).

De Ocampo kicker started off strong with few errors but got caught of guard that resulted in the match's early decision.

De Ocampo despite of the early defeat still have honour to TWA by winning yet another silver medal.

August 16, 2026 - Aleja Roño fired of Tayabas Western Academy (TWA) down a fury of consecutive straight head kicks taking down DPCNHS with 3 knock down streak ending the score with a commanding lead of 10-0 in the taekwondo girls sparring at The Lady Mediatrix Institute, Inc. (TLMII).

The Roño kicker started the match with a kick straight to the head shaking Ynah Latayan's rhythm followed with 2 more knock down via head kicks.

Latayan of DPCNHS sustained its damage with several defensive kicks but had not enough time shield Roño record shattering head kicks.

Aleja Roño added her name to the representative of the Palarong Quezon and prized yet another gold for TWA.
