Update || Computer-Based National Career Assessment Examination Pre-test 2026 ✨

In photos | Grade 10 students

The Grade 10 Computer-Based National Career Assessment Examination (CB-NCAE) Pre-Test 2026 was successfully conducted in both the morning and afternoon sessions, spearheaded by Ma’am Gretchin Cruzado, School Testing Coordinator, with the assistance of Ma’am Nicole Angela S. Navarro, ICT Coordinator.

Despite encountering system errors, LMS-related concerns, and some learners having no registered accounts, the testing team remained committed and resourceful in addressing the challenges encountered throughout the activity.

Through the cooperation of the learners, teachers, and testing personnel, both sessions were successfully completed. The activity highlighted the importance of teamwork, patience, and adaptability in ensuring the smooth implementation of the CB-NCAE.

Update: || 📚 School Learning Action Cell (SLAC)

The Dr. Vivencio V. Marquez National High School conducted its School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) for September 10, 2026, focusing on the theme, “Strengthening Reading Assessment and Intervention: Utilizing the MOSY Reading Assessment and Reading Profile for Responsive ARAL Implementation.”

The session provided teachers with a deeper understanding of the Middle of the School Year (MOSY) District Reading Assessment, including its administration, scoring, recording, and interpretation. The activity also emphasized the importance of using assessment results to identify learners’ reading needs and provide appropriate interventions under the ARAL Program.

The school extends its appreciation to Ma’am Jianne Kate M. Roleda, the resource speaker, for sharing her knowledge and insights that will help teachers strengthen reading assessment practices and support learners in improving their reading proficiency.
