Following the Magnitude 5.4 earthquake that struck Aroroy, Masbate at 8:54 A.M., with tremors felt in San Andres, Quezon, including Uy Yek Liong Elementary School, an immediate structural inspection was conducted to ensure the safety and integrity of our school buildings.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Municipal Engineer Pedro Ruiz and his team, together with our PSDS, Mr. Waldymar E. Pasacsac, and District DRRM Focal Person, Mr. Jeymark Genton, for their prompt response and thorough assessment. Their commitment to safeguarding the welfare of our learners, teachers, and school personnel reflects the importance of preparedness and proactive disaster risk management.

The safety of our school community remains our highest priority. We will continue to work closely with our partner agencies to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for everyone.

Muling inaanyayahan ng Uy Yek Liong Elementary School ang buong komunidad na makiisa sa Brigada Eskwela 2026 bilang paghahanda sa nalalapit na pagbubukas ng Taong Panuruan 2026–2027.

Inaabangan po namin ang pakikiisa ng ating mga magulang, mag-aaral, volunteers, stakeholders, at mga kaibigan ng paaralan sa gaganaping Brigada Eskwela sa Hunyo 1–5, 2026.

Sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang pagtutulungan, maihahanda natin ang isang ligtas, malinis, at maayos na kapaligiran para sa mas magandang pagkatuto ng ating mga mag-aaral.

Anumang tulong oras, kagamitan, donasyon, o simpleng pakikilahok ay malaking ambag para sa ating paaralan.

In preparation for the upcoming School Year 2026–2027, a District Monitoring on SDRRM was successfully conducted today, May 5, 2026, at Uy Yek Liong Elementary School, Sitio Putot, Brgy. Camflora, San Andres, Quezon.

The activity was led by our SDRRM School Head-in-Charge, Mr. Ronald N. Saniel, Principal I of Talisay ES, together with our Public Schools District Supervisor, Sir Waldymar E. Pasacsac.

Mr. Allan B. Abasolo, Officer-in-Charge, expressed his gratitude for the technical assistance provided, emphasizing its importance in ensuring the safety of teaching and non-teaching personnel, especially our learners and stakeholders.

This initiative aims to ensure that schools are well-prepared, resilient, and equipped to respond effectively to any emergencies or disasters that may arise in the coming school year.
